âWe loved this place! Perfect location and we got the top floor of the house to ourselves. Very clean everywhere, a great shower and lovely comfy beds and bed linen. A very filling and hearty breakfast as well and Mark was very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault this lovely bed and breakfast at all, highly recommend it and we will be back again hopefully. Bamburgh also a lovely place to stay! â
âUnfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst Iâve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didnât work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....
âI loved primrose cottage so much. It was just perfect for my solo trip. It really felt like a home from home, I felt so comfortable there.
The duvet and pillows were so soft and plentiful.
The Wi-Fi was great, no issues at all.
The kitchen was very well stocked, more than it needed to be but my favourite part of the stay was the shower.
It was - hands down - the most powerful shower I've ever had. Just perfect after my run on the beach
I really hope I'll be back soon and hope...

âThis was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay ÂŁ10.80 per day at...
âThe personnel at the bar and restaurant were really nice. The location is best in the area. Room comfort and information could be better. Not specially vegan-friendly.â
âOwners were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and breakfast was delicious⊠Highly Recommend! â
