When we arrived they had moved our original booking from two beds to one king bed. Unfortunately, since we had 3 adults, that did not work. They ended up giving us two rooms and comping one for their mistake (they were very nice and accommodating). After checking into the two rooms, one of them had a clogged sink. They could not fix it so they gave us another room. The new room had an issue with the door closing (it would not close unless you slammed it really hard). Both rooms had a lot of hair on the bed (maybe dog hair) and could have used a bit better of a cleansing. The staff was very nice but I think overall there needs to be an update on everything.
The biggest surprise was that one morning, my dad had left to go get coffee (around 5:30am). After he left my mom was doing her hair in the bathroom (we were getting ready to go to the Marine base) and she heard the door open. She peaked out of the bathroom and the security guard was in the room! He apologized and said that he thought they were already checked out and wanted to get a start on cleaning? What??? Who just walks into someones room? Very odd. Although the manager was very nice and the coffee was good in the little shop, I can't say that I would recommend this place after everything that happened in 2 days.
