âSehr zentrale Lage, direkt an der Promenade. Nur ca. 10 Minuten FuĂweg zum Bahnhof bzw. Busbahnhof. Daher sehr gute Möglichkeiten nach Torquay, Brixham oder Dartmouth zu kommen! Parkplatz zu teuer, man hat aber kaum eine Möglichkeit woanders zu parken. Zimmer gerĂ€umig und sehr sauber!â

Room was lovely, spacious enough for two and really quiet. 2 min walk to beachfront, 5 min walk to town.

âThe best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion.
My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and...

âMaybe good for British standards, but this is a one star hotel in the rest of Europe. The hotel is really old, no ac, a lot of noice from the corridor, poor cleaning hair in the shower and a forgotten pair of troussares.
People seems to leave food everywhere in the corridor.

"Hotellet var bra, och hade en mycket bra frukost. Rummet dÀremot var pyttelitet och man var tvungen att krypa över den ena sÀngen för att komma till den andra. Det var vÀldigt varmt i rummet eftersom det saknades AC. Dessutom gick det inte att öppna balkongdörren mer Àn en decimeter. Det stod att balkongen inte var sÀker att gÄ ut pÄ!!!"
