âWe chose The Market Tavern because of it's location - it is in the same village where our son, daughter-in-law and new grandson live and we were visiting.
The whole property has been tastefully renovated and is lovely. We had eaten in the pub before but not stayed.
Bampton is a quaint village with plenty of amenities and is well placed for visiting lots of interesting places.
Breakfast was good with cold and cooked choices. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Check out was 11:00 am not 10:00 plus a free continental breakfast was included which was quite substantial including tea, coffee, juices, fresh fruit, overnight oats, toast, jams, cheese and ham. All the staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.â

âThis hotel was very interesting, there are doors between the room in the hallway so it makes it very quiet. The room was very small but nice and clean. We did not eat here but it had a large dining room. â

"Ett helt okej hotell cirka 5km frÄn Oxford. Maten var okej men ta inte pizza, det var frys pizza. Vi bodde i den nya delen av hotellet och hade ett jÀttefint rum. "
"The room was great, no complaints there. The hotel in it self is beautiful. The man checking us in seem a bit uninterested though and they canât make coffee for breakfast. It really tasted bad. Might have expected a little more with the price. "
