Rundown hotel, but for a good price. The room was clean but everything seemed like it had seen better days. It was mostly quiet, although doors were thin and you could hear people passing in the hallway. Bed was very hard, but that seems like standard in China. The personal understood a little english, but I only talked with them at checking in and checking out. It was a bit of a walk to the closest train station (National Art Museum), but location was ok - close to the two big parks. For the price it was ok, as long as you dont expect anything fancy.

Bra läge för turistande!
Perfekt läge för den som vill turista! Frukosten är inte den mest internationella men överkomlig. Fräscha rum med aningen hårda sängar :)

Mycket fint hotell, särskilt med tanke på priset. Nära förbjudna staden men ligger på baksidan så det tar ungefär 20 min att gå till ingången och till himmelska fridens torg. Hjälpsam personal.

Great price/performance
The hotel seems a few years past its prime but it gets the job done. 24hour reception, air-conditioning, tv and spacious rooms. Staff helped us book a tour for Great Wall. Big plus on the location in general, but a bit far from the subway. We learned which buses to take for Chichahai or Dongsi stations which was a big help. Didn't try the breakfast.

Mycket bra värde för pengarna.
Området är i en hutong, vilket inte alls var negativt utan gav en en känsla att man faktiskt var i Kina. Bra läge till många sevärdheter, 10-15 min promenad till t-banan. Rent och snyggt, kommer gärna tillbaka igen.

Prisvärt!
Bra och prisvärt hotell, centralt men en promenad på 15-20 minuter från tunnelbanan. Enligt kinesisk standard mycket rent, trots att duschen var lite sliten. Inget wifi på rummet, men relativt stabilt i lobbyn, personalen pratade förvånandsvärt bra engelska och det erbjöds även bra utflykter i en speciell reception.

Inte alls fint det var vid en back gatan.
Från rummet kunde man vara se till en mur och skräp. I korridoren det var en gammalt matta som luktade mögel och hela lägenheten luktada illa. Man fick gå 2 st konstiga dörrar för att komma till rumet.

Bad Wifi Good location
Booked nine night on our trip. The Wifi, is really bad, and only works in the lobby(so don´t pay extra to get it in your room, it don´t work). The breakfast is ok, but we preffered the Alley Coffe on the corner, they had the best americanpancakes and REAL coffee and OJ. And really good at English. Its on a small road, at the hutongs, some love that some don´t, but if you walk a few hundred meters and get on the next road, your just by the top of The forbidden City. Remember that in the weekends the traffic get real bad here, so if your leaving for the airport get moving in time. Its about 15-20minutes walk to the closest metrostation (Dingsi). But it was not to bad. If your getting here from the airport, take the airport express (25 yuan) and then a cab from the end station (ca25yuan). We payed over 600 yuan for a cab to get from the airport to the hotel. sooo not worth it.

Great location - decent hotel
The hotel is centrally located close to Jinshan park and north gate (exit) of forbidden city. The map on this sight is slightly off though (the hotel is located east of the park). The neighbourhood is very nice and has a local vibe, lots of small eateries and hole in the wall food places! The hotel in it self is in a fairly good condition. Staff speaks english and there's an english news channel. Wifi is sadly only available in the lobby area and works so so when many people use it simultaneously - otherwise ok. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Stannade där en natt, rummet var bekvämt och väldigt fräscht men lite minde än på bilden. Man fick rena handdukar, tandborste, tandkräm,kam m.m. te fanns också gratis på rummet. Hotellets personal var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma men pratade inte den mest avancerade engelskan. Hotellet ligger på en sidogata till en sidogata, på gångavstånd från förbjudna staden vilket var ett perfekt läge. Tips är att be någon skriva ner hotellets namn och adress på kinesiska eftersom de flesta kineser inte pratar så bra engelska och inte alltid är så hjälpsamma. Skriv ocksa ut en karta där ni kryssat i var hotellet ligger. Ta ocksa ett visitkort från hotelles reception.

Grymt bra
Jag var extremt nöjd med allting, servicen var bra, de var trevliga och hjälpsamma, hotellet ligger mitt i stan bara ett stenkast ifrån den förbjudna staden vilket är väldigt bekvämt! Rummet var stort, bekvämt och rent. Frukosten kunde dock varit bättre men var ändå helt ok.

Fyrstjärnigt till trots var hotellet slitigt nästintill skabbigt. Tydligen kan inte kinesiska hotell bli av med sina stjärnor när de väl fått dem oavsett hur de missköter sig vilket är negativt. Sängarna är hårda men efter en vecka hade kroppen vant sig och jag sov mycket bättre. Men är man känslig bör man känna till det. Den vackra hotellterassen var stängd och när vi försökte kommunicera fick vi reda på att de troligen öppnar den i juli så informationen om hotellet är missledande. Men med våra förväntningar var hotellet helt OK och ligger på en vacker genuin sidogata med mycket "äkta" vardagsliv samt ca 400 meter till norra porten för förbjudna staden ( notera att den ej fungerar som ingång). Så hotellet är värt ett besök tack vare läge och tillgänglighet men notera samtidigt att det är ca 1,5 km till tunnelbanan om det är en viktig faktor.

Min sambo och jag bodde här i 2 v- mar 2013. Trångt rum, ingen har städat under sängen på länge men ganska OK i det stora hela. Personalen kan väldigt lite engelska men försöker hjälpa i den mån de kan. Ganska bra läge i ett lugnt område nära till tunnelbanan. Usel frukost. Håller definitivt inte måttet för ett 4*. Rimligt pris för att vara Beijing. Rekommenderas om man är tolerant och inte förväntar sig för mycket.

Yes, the beds are hard. But if you walk all day in Beijing and end the day with some beers on the roof, you won´t notice it :-) Close to post office, ATM, and forbidden city. its a 1,3 km walk to subway ("Dongsei"), but you get a chance to see the nightlife and arrive to the hotel from the "right" side of the hotelstreet, with small shops and restaurants and so. Also visit the internetcafe at the corner and pet the dumpling-cat. :-) A little waring about the "foot and body"-massage next door. They really wanted to massage other parts. We recommend this hotel!

The Unknown Hotel in Beijing
King Parkview Hotel’s location is a bit hard to find. Nobody knows the hotel and the hotel is difficult for taxi chauffeurs to find. The easiest way is to bring with a map and then point out where the hotel’s located. If you don’t have a map, tell the streets that are close to it, for example Wang Fu Jing, which most of them know. We had problems with the information from hotels.com, but the staff kindly helped us out. The rooms we had were comfortable and clean. I only recommend if you plan to stay in the hotel rooms for sleeping and resting. The rooms aren’t fit to hang out in. We really liked the location. There were food shops all way. We found a mini restaurant that we really liked. It tasted well with good prices. It’s too far to the nearest subway, but we found out that the buses are the easiest way to move around (except from taxis). If you can read Chinese then bus is the best way to move around. It’s much cheaper than travelling around with the taxi. For example, the bus stops at Wang Fu Jing which is an excellent place to go shopping.

King Parkview Hotel - Beijing
The hotel has a great location near Jingshan Park and The Forbidden City. We took a taxi from the Capital International Airport to the hotel, and it's good to know that they taxi driver will charge you for the fuel and the toll gate plus the amount the taximeter says. At the hotel the personnel is very helpful, and while their English might not be the best, if you give them time and is patience it'll work out. Patience is they key. Breakfast at the hotel is something I recommend, it was really good, we ate it until we were stuffed before we headed out on out adventures. The only downside we had during our stay was the showers sewer. It didn't suck up the water and eventually the water would flood over and ironically the sewer outside the shower works best! Other than that our stay was enjoyable, we had no problems, internet worked just fine even though it was slow at times, but that's a Chinese standard. I greatly recommend this hotel, it's located on a backstreet, and in the evenings you can buy cheap food from the local booths. There's a small convenience store around the corner, and the subway is 20 minutes walk away. The subway is indeed the fastest way to transport yourself while being in Beijing, and it's cheap too, though that means a lot of other people will ride too, but if you don't have any problems with tight and warm environment, I suggest you take the subway, it's worth the money and time! Hope you'll get an enjoyable stay in Beijing at King Parkview Hotel.

Bra hotell i bra läge
Hotellet ligger bra till strax norr om Förbjudna Staden i ett lugnt hutongkvarter. Rummen var rena, rymliga och av helt ok standard. Servicen var ok. Utcheckningen tog av någon konstig anledning ganska lång tid så det gäller inte att ha bråttom. I övrigt är det ett bra hotell som jag kan rekommendera, prisvärt och hyfsat centralt.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Verbotene Stadt, Behaj Park, Trommelturm etc) fußläufig erreichen. Zudem befindet sich in der Nähe eine Metrostation. Die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber. Die Wohngegend ist ruhig und es gibt verschiedene kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wifi didn't work for one week. All the other comments are true about the beds being too hard (impossible hard). Just one bottle of water per day, when all the other hotels I've been to in China give you 2. True about the bathroom flooding when having a shower (the curtain is too short, the base in the shower floor as well). The maids were lovely 😍 The guy at reception helped me with Chinese. Location is good, near the metro and some touristic points. Good refrigerator and washing machine.

It is hard to find the hotel, because the entrance of the hotel is sitting in the Backyard. Also it is not possible to identify it, if you don't know the chinese Language. The chinese name of the Hotel is completely different.

純放鬆, 想與世隔絶還是會選擇這裡
裝修是比較老舊, 但房間是整潔的, 厠所的門不能鎖, 但因為同住的是很熟的同事, 我覺得沒有關係, 浴室是淋浴的, 水壓很足. 溫度很舒服. 賓館的地點離地鐵有一點距離. 走路約10-15分鐘. 五月的天氣走起來算是舒服的, 巷口就有24小時便利店, 走路10分鐘內有許多餐廳. 生活機能還不錯, 環境是安靜的. 離故宮, 景山公園真的很近. 最大的不便是沒有網路, 即使連上賓館網路, 也沒有連線能力.

Péssimo hotel, café da manhã ruim o quarto era muito desconfortável cama extremamente dura, pedi cama de casal e não tinha.. wi fi não funcionava. Péssima localização em local extremamente inseguro. Não tinha como controlar a temperatura do quarto. A arrumação deixou a desejar.. os recepcionistas não eram prestativos. pior hotel que já me hospedei...

O quarto era muito quente, não tinha como controlar a climatização do quarto, éramos um casal e deram 2 camas de solteiro, a cama parecia uma pedra de tão dura, o Wi-Fi não pegava no quarto, nem na recepção. Os atendentes não eram prestativos. O café da manhã muito ruim. E a localização era muito esquisita.

What you see not necessary what you get.
Told that they change bed sheet every 4 days. The room floor a little dusty. Breakfast was terrible. Shower head spoilt. Overall condition average or slightly below. Time to do upgrading. 3 stars a little undeserving.

I did not expect location to be so quiet and the neighborhood had a feel like a small village with restaurant with homemade food and plenty of small shops. I will recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were very clean and it was very quiet, in short walking distance from downtown. The first night our air conditioner was making this awful loud noise that woke us up every hour and didn't work properly, but the staff was very understanding and switched us to another room.

Bonjour, établissement très bien situé au niveau géographique. Par contre un personnel décevant, ne parlant pas ou très peu l’anglais. Personnes pas très agréable. Peu d’aide à la réception. Une mauvaise connection Internet à la réception et aucune dans les chambres. Il faut avoir un numéro local pour avoir le Free Wifi dans les chambres.
