“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Having one king bed and one queen bed made it perfect for our family of four with two older kids. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. During our stay, my wife developed a blister after visiting the Great Wall, and the staff kindly provided alcohol-soaked cotton tips—such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. “First of all, I have to acknowledge the staff were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me even when I was having difficulties paying for a tour, the front desk was fantastic. I would recommend the room with breakfast. The breakfast is a beautiful, generous buffet, the only drawback I would say was the bathroom where the shower continually leaked onto the floor which caused me to worry about slipping. “Conveniently located hotel with good bones, but just no longer a five star hotel. The hotel is worn; draperies were sticky and in need of cleaning or replacement. Windows had smudges from other people’s noses and foreheads. The shower floor had grime and mildew. Employees kicked food dropped on floor under the food cabinets. Men’s locker room had at least 30 used towels on the floor. We recently stayed at the Four Seasons, which is a whole different caliber of hotel. Pan pacific is not there....

“Nice location with the beautiful bamboo park and the zoo just across the road. The 40 sqm room felt spacious and the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was nicely cleaned. The hotel is named New Century but really it feels like stepping into the previous century, it's time to refurbish the rooms. The lobby looks nice though. “The entire property seemed clean, well-maintained. It was difficult to find the hutong (alley) because the sign bearing the hutong's name was on the western side of the hutong wall, facing east, and I walked from the west looking for it. =)”

“A bit confusing at first. I'd booked the Xinjiang Hotel and they couldn't find the booking. Then referred me to the Xinjiang Plaza 100 meters away. Very frustrating when you cant find anyone that speaks English. Apart from that it was a very good place to stay. When I booked at the hotel it excluded breakfast. At the plaza the price included breakfast and was cheaper.”

“The room was good enough for me, all i needed for a solo traveller. No english speaking on reveption tho so need the translator. Not too much within walking distance so good job taxi's are reasonably priced. To be fair everything in beijing is quite far from one another”

“Welcoming and spacious hotel which exceeded expectations. The front desk and cleaning personnel were friendly, helpful, and patient. The rooms were quite spacious. The facilities are a bit dated, but very comfortable. Water was given to us every day. There are nice amenities the room. Buffet breakfast has nice variety.”
