"The view from this hotel is truly spectacular and without a doubt deserves five stars. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to its advertised four-star standard. The property feels dated and worn, with several areas in need of renovation. The breakfast and restaurant offerings were disappointing, lacking both variety and quality. Service was also very inconsistent—some staff members were friendly and attentive, while others seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Overall, if you’re looking for an unforgettable view, this hotel certainly delivers. However, apart from the scenery, the overall experience felt much closer to a three-star hotel than a four-star one."

"We stayed for one night and enjoyed it very much. The hotel was very clean and modern and with a wonderful air conditioning. Well needed since it was 45 degrees Cellcius outside. The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop bar very enjoyable. The staff was helpful and polite. The location, just at the edge of the old town, was perfect. We arrived and departed with train to the station Coimbra-B. There was a free Metro bus to and from the station, stopping just outside the hotel, which was very nice. I would really recommend a stay at this hotel."
