“I liked the location which is a short walk to downtown and the harbor. The lobby is cozy and the kitchen large and clean.
Our room, on the other hand, was very disappointing. It lacked basics, like a place to set down the suitcase, or clothes to hang,; a dresser”
“We had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN. We loved sitting on the "porch" (had two chairs and a small table) and take in the environment with the beautiful flower beds. Breakfast was lovely (real mugs!) with two exceptions. The hot water for e.g. tea had slight taste of coffee, i.e. the thermoses for hot water only and coffee were not kept...
“Nice hotel but the continental breakfast was just sad. The bagel shelf listed 4 kinds of bagels but there was only 1 kind and no butter, only little containers of grape jam. There were two mini danishes left half an hour after breakfast started and one mini doughnut and a tiny amount of the only juice in sight-apple. There was plenty of yogurt though and exploding pineapple fruit cups. Luckily the room was nearby to clean up the pineapple juice on my sleeve.”
“Winterport commercial house was amazing. The owners were so polite respectful just truly amazing people. I can’t wait to stay there again and I would recommend it to anybody.”
