“Under new ownership has the kitchen open to guests at all hours. NIce tho some guests cook and dont wash their dishes and no one on site to supervise it.
I put way dishes from the staff baking muffins early in the day and wiped counters and tied up a full to the brim garbage can.
I like the access to kitchen and common area but not if area is not monitored.
Room was clean as usual and comfortable and well decorated. NO hot water for morning shower in upstairs room tho.”
“We had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN. We loved sitting on the "porch" (had two chairs and a small table) and take in the environment with the beautiful flower beds. Breakfast was lovely (real mugs!) with two exceptions. The hot water for e.g. tea had slight taste of coffee, i.e. the thermoses for hot water only and coffee were not kept...
“When we arrived we were assigned a 2 nd floor room. We took the one and only elevator up without the use of a cart since they didn’t have any on the premises. The hall carpet was extremely old and worn to the point where it was fraying and my luggage wheels kept getting stuck in the threads. The halls were very very narrow making it very hard to walk down the hall with luggage and a backpack with a shoulder bag. I had to turn sideways to avoid hitting the walls.
