Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. “Staff was so friendly and kind. Room was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint for a not 5 star was that there were slightly large bugs in our room, not on the bed but on the floor, I’m only assuming since it’s dark with the solar lighting. Other than that this place was absolutely stunning and I will be returning!”

The Ford Fireworks show was that evening and it seems that the hotel let random people park at its location and set up beach chairs for around the property for the fireworks show that evening. Downtown Detroit location had multiple people loitering outside entry doors at all hours. Not recommended to walk around at night as there were three crime notifications around 2am on a Saturday. ”
