About this place

Casa do Barão is in the Historic Center of São José das Três Ilhas, it is very rustic, old, and preserved, listed by the Historical Heritage of IEPHA, full of greenery and animals.
You will have the privilege of traveling back in time, our community dates to the 19th century where there were more than 3,000 inhabitants, there is a huge stone church and preserved old mansions, everything was built with the wealth of the coffee barons, the house where you will be received more 150 years old, today the place has just over 300 permanent inhabitants. Our doors are open, make yourself at home.
To get there, there is a 9,32mi dirt road between Belmiro Braga and São José das Três Ilhas, or 5,6mi from Três Ilhas, which gets bumpier during the rainy season, but it always passes normally!

This house is special and offers its guests an autonomous experience of simple life in the countryside.

The space
IMPORTANT:
- The house is close to green areas, so you can find wild animals, insects, and mosquitoes.
- The rainy season occurs between November and March.
- In the rainy season there may be a power outage, internet and Vivo operator, the only one that operates in the place.

Best of all, the house is on a 2,700,000 m² lot of greenery, flowers, fruits, birds (toucans, jacus, blackcurrants, canaries, bem-te-vis, and an countless variety of other birds) and other animals... You are really immersed in nature; you will have a renewed experience.

This is a rustic house, without luxuries, for people who love nature and our history. I was lucky to grow up in this place and now I have the happiness to share a little bit with you.

The farm is rented to a single group at a time. Guests will be able to access the entire house, including the pool and ranch with barbecue and wood stove, orchard, and soccer fields.

Important: We have ONE MAIN HOUSE with 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and THE RANCH has 1 more bedroom and 1 bathroom.

Other observations

Important tips:

The place is very rustic, without luxuries, there is no air conditioning, just a TV in the room where few channels work, with a satellite dish. We offer a fan for hot days, delicious hammocks to rest and a Wi-Fi network to connect with the outside world. The wi-fi is not ideal for periods of work.

There are many animals on the farm, from birds to mosquitoes, so protect yourself from bites.
We have two dogs; they are friendly but will not be free during your stay.

When you arrive, everything will be ready to receive you, if you need cleaning and help with food during your stay, talk to us, separate services!

About this space
I am lucky to have this enchanted, preserved place, full of colorful birds that wake up each morning scented by the flowers of jabuticaba trees, jambo trees, carambola, blackberries, pitangas and mangoes. a farmhouse

restored with every comfort, which blends with the traditions of Minas Gerais with a wood stove, if you prefer. Barbecue, large lawn, swimming pool and a small soccer field. We host 10 people in the main house and optionally two more in the ranch. There is a double bed that dates to the coffee barons, approximately 150 years old.
