Lakefront home in VT near Okemo and Killington. Minutes to Skiing!

Our newly renovated lakefront home is located on 'Star Lake' in Belmont Vermont, a quaint and picturesque town nestled between stunning mountain views. For ski enthusiasts, Okemo is just 9 miles and just 12 minutes away. The nearby town in Ludlow offers lots of restaurants and shops. Killington (22 miles), Bromley (23 miles), and Magic Mountain (20 miles) are all within a 30 minute drive. Pico Mountain is 30 miles away. In the summer, walk just 5 minutes to the center of town and grab a beer at the Belmont Country Store or take a swim in the lake at the maintained swimming area in town.

Our lakefront home features 3 spacious bedrooms and 1 full bathroom & 2 half bathrooms. There is a second living room upstairs for more lounging and beautiful views of the lake. The spacious deck and backyard allow for enjoyment of the peaceful surroundings.

3 Bedrooms:
- Spacious Master Bedroom with King Bed overlooking Star Lake. This bedroom also features a half bath ensuite. Sleeps 2.
- Twin bedroom featuring two twin beds just off of the living room. This bedroom is perfect for guests who'd like a little bit of a quiet escape away from other bedrooms in the house. Sleeps 2.
- Bunk room with a twin over queen bunkbed and a single twin bed that both children and adults can enjoy. Sleeps 4.

Living Spaces:
- Large living and dining space with large windows overlooking the lake
- Second living space / lounge area upstairs with TV, books and games. There is a pullout sofa in this room that can sleep additional 2 guests.
- Sunroom perfect for morning coffee while enjoy lake views
- The fireplace is not functional and unavailable for use.

Kitchen:
- There is a full kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster oven.
- Pots and pans, dishes, cups, mugs, and cutlery are provided to help you prepare your full course meals.

Extra amenities:
- Complimentary k-cups, creamers, sugars for your morning cup of joe
- 8 bath towels and wash cloths will be provided. Please bring your own if you need more than that.
- Laundry room with detergents and fabric softeners
- Iron & ironing board
- Complimentary soap, shampoo, and conditioner

Family-Friendly:
- Pack n Play available in the house
- High Chair available
- Plastic dishes, cups, and cutlery for those butter fingers ;)

Outdoor:
- Large deck overlooking the backyard and lake, perfect for soaking in lake views and stargazing at night.
- Weber Charcoal Grill available for use
- Adirondack chairs in the backyard for lounging and enjoying the lake
- Outdoor fire pit and large back deck for roasting marshmallows

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SNOW AND PARKING:
- We are located in the heart of Vermont and it snows A LOT! Especially here on the lake.
- ALL WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED to get through the winding roads and through our driveway. Snow tires are ideal. We will not refund if your vehicle cannot make it to our property because of your tires.
- Our road is plowed regularly. However, please be patient when it snows as our local plows are working to plow the roads as quickly and as safely as possible.
- There is only room for parking TWO cars, and especially so when it snows.
- Please park your cars as close to the garage and side fence as possible to allow our neighbors room to pass as the streets become narrow and icy.

Pets:
- Unfortunately pets are not allowed due to allergies.

The Lake:
- You may step onto our dock to take in views of the lake
- However, the lake is not accessible for swimming or boating due to lily pads that cover the lake from late spring to early fall.
- There is a designated swimming area just a short 5 minute walk away in town.
