“Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back. ”

“The property is in a great location for walking to the University. It was in a cool old house. We enjoyed the fun, "University" vibe of the decor. The staff was great. Emma was a particular delight--very helpful and full of useful information & recommendations. The breakfast buffet was great with many options. It was served on the top floor with nice views and an outdoor patio for nice weather days.
The one thing that we would change would be the numerous, plug-in air freshener/frangrances...
“Comfy bed. Neat, tidy and clean. Fresh fruit available. Bright and spacious. A little tricky to find the first time, but this is more to do with the way google maps depicts the area (and how tired I was when trying to read the map 😉) than the directions received. “Hostess was excellent. We werent able to stay for the including breakfast so she made us sandwiches to take hiking for thr next day. Room was clean and the jacuzzi was absolutely perfect after days of walking up and down the hills. Parking was super convenient because we parked right outside the door. Restaurants and bars were in close vesinity too. ”

"The hotel looks like a medieval castle but was actually built in the late 1800. There's a wow factor when approach the hotel. And some of the common areas are impressive such as the dining room. The young gentleman at the reception was very kind and helpful. And the surrounding forest is beautiful.
But the positives stop there. The problem is the hotel is falling apart. And the owners don't care. Wallpaper peeling off all over the place. Dirty bathroom och bathtub. Toilet doesn't flush properly. The cleaning staff must find paper and worse floating in the bowl every time they clean the room.
The staff in the restaurant is like Faulty Towers. Running here and there nervously, arguing with each other, throwing food on the table and running away again. We actually had a good laugh at it all, but considering the price and low quality of the food it's a disgrace.
Go here, look at the hotel and forest, but then leave and stay and eat elsewhere. "
