The service was not so friendly compared to other places we visited. The same staff felt insecure. They were not service minded. Not impolite, but a little distracted.

âWe loved staying in the yurt! We were walking the Rob Roy Way and treated ourselves to a bed for the night. Melanie was a really relaxed host and very welcoming, and made a killer breakfast in the morning which set us up well for a day of walking. â

âI stayed here so that I could attend the Highland games in Crieff and was only here just over 13 hours. Keep in mind that it's an old building with no a/c or lift and you'll be just fine! I took only the things I needed for the night in with me (leaving the rest in my car, where it felt very safe) and I slept with the window open and I was just fine (I'm very warm-blooded).
