Tillbringa månaden, veckan eller helgen i en vacker lantlig ombyggd ladugård på 6. 5 mycket privata soliga land tunnland med sydlig långväga utsikt över Mt. Anthony och Bennington-monumentet (vistelser på 2 eller fler veckor diskonteras gradvis beroende på vistelsens längd. Kontakta ägaren för dessa priser eftersom de kanske inte återspeglas i den angivna offerten. Vandra genom de parkliknande stigarna genom 4 tunnland gammal äppelodling och skog. Varför få en bed and breakfast när du kan ha ett hus och landa allt för dig själv? Denna semesterbostad ligger i sydvästra Vermont, mindre än 12 minuter från Bennington centrum (men känns fortfarande väldigt tyst och avskilt). Plocka äpplen, fågelskådning och visa andra djur som hjortar, ryper, vilda kalkoner, kaniner, Lynx och Bob-katter. Utmärkt fluefiske på den närliggande floden Battenkill. Delta i sommarhästshower i närliggande Manchester. Njut av det världsberömda lövverket i Vermont. Titta på blommorna blommar på våren. Skidor eller snöskor på vintern. Njut av en eldstad i trädgården. Fem stora skidområden ligger inom en timmes bilresa. Huset är fullt möblerat och har skifferdusch, björnklockbadkar, gasspis, mikrovågsugn, kylskåp, diskmaskin, kabel, DVD / video, och trådlöst internet, plus två vedspisar och gratis ved för att hålla dig varm på natten ( Det finns också central luftvärme och en bärbar luftkonditionering vid behov). Det finns ett stort sovrum nedervåningen med egen gasspis / öppen spis för atmosfär och extra värme. Det finns ett vardagsrum, matplats och ytterligare ett litet rum som kan sova 2 med stor elektrisk sprängmadrass på plats. En spiraltrappa leder upp till ett stort loft med en fullstor fjädermadrass futon. Det finns också en kärleksstol som dras ut i en dubbelsäng. Ladugården var faktiskt en del av en stor pittoresk Vermont-gård precis upp på grusvägen (och synbar från delar av fastigheten) tills den rullades ner på stockar och omvandlades till ett hus för några år sedan.

The hosts have really done a wonderful job in their barn conversion. Every area of it is cozy and warm, and put together rather nicely. The antiques on the wall and the bathtub with a large window to look out at the expansive property made it feel especially homey. It was also a really thoughtful touch to provide wood, as there are so many places around the property to light a great fire, both inside and out.

Peaceful oasis

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. The location was everything the listing said and then some. The peaceful location is rejuvenating as is the hot tub. You will be surrounded by trees and forest. We weren't able to hike the local and property trails due to my unplanned (broke my toe) physical limitations. We thoroughly enjoyed the local feel to area and the local eateries. There is so much beautiful scenery it was impossible to get to all the places we wanted. We will be back. Highly recommend a stay.

We are originally from the area and had no idea how much it had been built up for a small town. The house was very cozy, and property was perfect for 2 dogs. We had our family of four adults. It was a challenge with one bathroom, but it worked out. We did have some issues with the lighting. The house is dark and could use some brighter lighting in some rooms and near stairs. There are lots of windows for natural light. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub or fire pit. Communication with host was excellent. Heed the warning about Ticks! They were found on both pets and people despite treatments and repellent. Still a very peaceful and enjoyable stay and would recommend for quiet time away.

had an amazing stay at this beautifully renovated barn in Vermont! The property is stunning, with several acres of land offering breathtaking mountain views. A Experience

Wife, pup and I had a beautiful and relaxing 3 nite stay on this rustic, unique property. This clean, well thought out home came equipped with all the amenities and if we did need anything, our kind and accommodating host Lars was a phone call or text away. There are a few recommended eateries and breweries nearby, but we were content utilizing the kitchen and enjoying our quiet sanctuary, which included a small network of trails right in the backyard which kept our pup busy. The wooden swing along the trail with the picturesque view is a fabulous touch. Even better... enjoying the hot tub under the stars with a variety of ornamental solar lights twinkling throughout the property was a very cool addition. A very memorable stay which has certainly earned a return visit in the warmer months so we can enjoy more of what beautiful Vermont has to offer. New Years Paradise

This was such a special trip. My fiancé, my parents, our two dogs, and I went up for the new year and had such a pleasant time. The house was clean, comfortable, and located within an hour of Stratton Mountain! Lars was fantastic with accommodation and communication. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

A beautiful place to stay!

This property is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! It is very secluded with beautiful grounds, the inside is bigger than I was expecting and perfectly decorated to give off the secluded mountain cabin vibe, plus the wood stove is perfect. Lars was extremely nice and easy to communicate with, we will definitely stay again!

Sanctuary

This being our second time to Lar's cabin and certainly will not be our last. The cabin and surrounding property is so relaxing we find it hard to leave to explore the area. The cabin is clean, all the amenities you need and off the beaton path enough to afford you privacy. But close enough to town in case you need it. Thank you Lar's for another wonderful vacation.

Vermontbarn Shaftsbury

Place was amazing very secluded but close enough to get into town and do things. Our longest drive to go do something was only nine minutes away. Everything was as promised. The only issue we had was the back door entry. The hot tub is right there and when we were standing outside watching nature, we saw bees and wasps going underneath the hot tub. so because we were both chickens, we never went into the hot tub. I probably should’ve called the owner to let him know, but I was a little embarrassed, thinking what a big babies we are!!

We loved our stay at the converted barn! It was completely private and super quiet. The hot tub was great, and I have never seen so many stars in my life! The house was very beautiful and felt like a home, we loved taking a look at all the decor. By the time our trip was coming to an end, we were super sad... we never wanted to leave!
