We loved everything about our stay. The house and the hospitality from the owner, Patty was amazing. She made the best breads and breakfast and I already miss her organic coffee! We would recommend this place and would love to come back. Thank you Patty!

Tolles Haupthaus, supernette Gastgeber, großartiges Frühstück! Die von uns gemietet Cabin im weitläufigen Garten bietet viel Privatsphäre und Atmosphäre, ist allerdings schon etwas älter und einfacher ausgestattet.

Right from the start we had a wonderful experience. Patty the owner greeted us with a warm welcome and tour of the house. We were the only ones there for the weekend. Although not right in town, it ended up being the best of both worlds. It is located half way between South Haven and Saugatuck. Which made it perfect for our weekend plans. Each morning Patty made a great breakfast with homemade breads, jams, muffins and a main course eggs or crepes. The room was nice and cozy with a fireplace, full bath, tv with cable and wifi. It was a wonderful getaway!

The bathroom set up was none idea I was the makeshift shower it’s a wraparound shower curtain that when it was inserted into the tub because the tub to fill it with the 30 showing of water , I made the mistake of posting my review with only Expedia without calling me and trying to get a different room for a 1030 at night the innkeeper can bring the money to Timothy. He screamed at me for leaving the field review with someone comes to me only spend 1 million and checked out the next day I think this innkeeper needs to be able to deal with his anger

Just a great place.......

Location: it is right between South Haven and Saugatuck, a beach is nearby. Breakfast: too much, delicious, arty European presentation, healthy. Room: clean, stylish, comfort including a bad, well airconditioned. Stuff- owner: very friendly, professional, care.Price: the best in area.Parking:a lot and easy.You pay less then you will receive.

Historical Hospitality

Excellent hospitality by Patty and Mike. Patty is a fabulous cook. She lovingly prepares breakfast and make you feel right at home. He baked goods are abundant and fabulous! This is a very unique place: historical with comfortable rooms and common areas. We booked another reservation on the spot.

Such a treat!

I stayed for two nights as a last minute booking. Patty is a gracious host as is her small staff, who were very helpful when I had questions about the area and cell phone troubles. I don’t know what was better, the bed or the breakfast! Stepping through the front door was like stepping back to antebellum days. It definitely is an old mansion and it exudes a history of luxury. But I digress, my room, Patty’s Garden Room, was on the first floor. The room door was a little tricky. But the room was spacious w/ a jacuzzi tub in the room and a full bath ensuite. The bed was so amazingly comfortable and soothing w/ cotton quits and blankets; the room was very cool so I snuggled in for very refreshing sleep. I slept like a rock! The breakfast was so fancy, all homemade. I ate with the other guests as a “family” of new friends; conversation and coffee over sweet/savory delights, I ask, “What can be better?”

Our stay at Seymour

Seymour House is slightly run down. It is definitely not a 9/10. The porch steps and outside rug need to be replaced / painted. There was a little mold on the bottom of the bathroom window. The quarter round at the base of the bathtub needed to be replaced ( missing in some parts). It would have been nice for the host to tell us about the history of the property and the area. The rain pounded on the window in the roof during the night and sounded like the bathtub was dripping.

Seymour House17

Wonderful historic home with excellent breakfast especially breads, biscuits, and fruit jams and jellies. There are a few minor maintenance issues such as controls for a combination fan/light over the bed and a bathroom door that wouldn't close and a vent fan that needed cleaning. But overall a nice experience with great history.

Quiet and convenient

I would definitely stay here again, this B & B is close to both Saugutuck to the north and South Haven to the south. Comfortable and very quite, I slept quite well. Breakfast was gourmet and delicious. Owners are very nice and accommodating! One thing that was disappointing is the walking trails they talked about on the website, there wasn't much there.

A good place to stay but out of the way.

Good room and service. A little too far from beach attractions and restaurants to get top scores. The owners try hard to compensate with attention to detail.

South Havens Hidden Jewel

The accommodations were very comfy, and the Hosts went above and beyond, to make our stay comfortable. The morning breakfasts were comparable to any Hotels. Would highly recommend this place, most definitely will return again.
