Just steps to Sea Colony's half-mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this coastal condominium also offers a well-equipped kitchen, including stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and a complete complement of utensils and cookware. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more! Accessible without stairs.  2 TVs, 2 DVDs, Wifi. The primary bedroom is on the west side of the building. Bedroom 2 is oceanfront.

Girls trip

I love this condo. This is my third time staying in it. The view cannot be beat. The furnishings are nice, a lovely kitchen, but a few things need attention. The showers leak (one dripped all night) and the primary bathroom needs some touch-ups. A towel rack of some sort is needed in the powder room and the beds need mattress pads and more sheets/updated bedding. It’s such a fabulous unit, the owners just need to put a little into upkeep.

Great space, end of the week snafu

This place is clean and spacious. The balcony offers beautiful views of the ocean. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and furniture was clean and comfortable. Beach gear left much to be desired- there were only three very cheap beach chairs for a place that slept 6 and one very cheap beach umbrella. No beach towels were provided and the bath towels left lint all over when used after showers. We were forced to leave a day early because of a leak that started from the floor above on our last afternoon. We immediately reported this to the rental office and they were very good about following up, but not at all good about following up on our privacy as a maintenance person entered our space while I was home alone in the shower (the rental office asked if they could come to check out the problem, but assured me they would call before entering. They did not call before entering). They proceeded to set up huge equipment in the main space to mitigate the leak which was so loud that it made the place uninhabitable. We left that evening since it was clear that we couldn't hear each other or sleep with the noise. We reached out to the rental office repeatedly about getting a refund for the last night but the rental office has just replied that someone would reach out. It's been 11 days and no one has reached out. We would not recommend this rental service to anyone. Too bad that this soured what would have been a lovely week in Bethany Beach.

The layout of the condo was very nice, however the water had not been turned on to the sink, dishwasher, and toilet. Bathtub was dirty. Water leaked into the condo from unit above, so we had big fans and dehumidifier running for a few days.

First time Sea Colony at Bethany Beach

Sea Colony is a very large resort with multiple high-rise buildings and the check in process is not very clear. We had to check in at the Vacasa Office which was across several very busy roads in a shopping plaza before we could get into the unit. Our particular unit had had a water leak and the clean up equipment (fans and humidifiers) were still set up and running when we arrived. The water had also been shut off. We called Vacasa (the property management) andf they sent someone to turn the wter back on but the equipment was left where it was during our two night stay. We were unable to use 2/3 bathrooms and the shower could not be used in third bathroom. The property was very beautiful and the view was great but we weren't really able to enjoy the property as it was at check in.

Great place!

Condo was clean, nicely decorated and had a beautiful view of the water. Check in was easy, unit had upgraded appliances with keyless entry. Beds we’re comfortable, would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

The condo was beautiful with nice updates but the place was poorly cleaned if cleaned at all. We traveled all day with 3 children (8, 5, and 6 weeks) only to arrive and have to clean the place. They did refund our cleaning fee which was great but not worth the hassle for all the money spent. I would not stay here again.

Great view

The view of the ocean was great from the balcony. We watched the sunrise every morning, and we were lucky enough to see dolphins one morning. The layout of the place was perfect for our family and we will be back for sure.

Relaxing views!

We visited during the colder months so the complex was quite empty. We were fine with this. Waking up in the morning to the view with a cup of coffee never got old! We didn't need to take a walk in the sand to get our ocean fix. The condo itself was very comfy and open. Had a nice, relaxing time! Looking forward to visiting again in the warmer months!

Great winter girls weekend.

The property was extremely clean and well kept! We found the unit well stocked and loved the access to the beach. Staff was very responsive to helping when water was off in unit due to winter shutdowns. We do wish there were more clear instructions for things within the unit (I.e., book from owner with info about carry out, WiFi, locations of objects in unit). Would deck kry

Beautiful!

This place is beautiful. Even more than the pictures show. Updates are done to the smallest detail and the view is breathtaking. The kitchen is awesome and fully stacked. I will totally come back. The beach... perfect! Clean and not populated. The check in process is confusing and I was really frustrated on my holiday. Even though once in I was totally over it. The after hours box was across the street. Not sure how I was supposed to know that. I couldn’t figure out parking for about 15 minutes. Overall the place was clean, but not deep cleaned. I could tell the small rugs had not been cleaned and the floor in the bed room had residue from a previous spill which made me question of the flies had been mopped. Lastly there is a picture on the wall in the bedroom with and old small bug trapped inside. It almost looks like a door until you look closely. Non of the upgrades are real breakers, but they should fix those things. The place can not be beat. The furnishings, patio, and remodel are amazing!

What a perfect getaway. The unit was lovely - recently remodeled, well appointed, tasteful, fresh design choices. The view is truly awesome. It’s a great place to visit any time of year. We enjoyed the sea colony amenities and the unseasonably warm weather. We’ll be back!

We loved the place and our only complaint would be part of the check in process. It was very easy and fast but very little direction once the place was ready. Hard to find where our parking space was, very little help. This was very minor, but signs/maps would be helpful

Beautiful but not clean

The property is new, spacious and beautiful. The view off of the balcony could not be better! There is a half bath not pictured that we didn’t even know existed. Would’ve been an easy 5 stars if it were not for the fact that the property was not cleaned well, if at all, prior to our arrival. More concerning this year, due to COVID and the promise of extra cleaning and sterilizing. The floor was completely sandy, food wrappers and garbage under the beds, dog hair all over the floor and area rugs, food stains on the cabinets and chairs, and dusty/ dirty corners. I called and was provided a small refund, which was appreciated but cleaning and sanitizing was just not something I wanted to be doing after driving an entire day and having to unpack.

Great place

The only criticism we have if this experience is the check in. There is no where to park at the marketplace area. So the first experience is one of frustration. Maybe another area of the property could be used for “fast check-ins”.

Complex great/ condo not

Sea Colony was very nice and the amenities were good. Our condo- was not very clean- we had to clean the kitchen- there was black mold?? in the air conditioner vents and inthe ceiling which we ended up cleaning. Had to have maintenance out twice for bathroom problems- clogged tub ,broken shower knob and leaking toilet. Carpet was dirty and overall cleanliness poor. This condo needs serious deep cleaning and updates or repairs in the bathrooms!! We would return to SeaColony but never to this unit

I rented this apartment and this apartment is not fit to be rented. these are the problems we faced from arrival. A. First impression: Dirty, vacuum in living room, broom by the door sand collected not picked up, bathrooms not washed, floors have not seen a mop for 10 years, carpet filthy, balcony covered with dirt, corps of thousands of mosquitoes and few cigarette buds. B. Some of the sheets missing called three times and eventually arrived at 10 PM, had to call 3 times and time to be on hold. C. The kitchen facet had so much mildew on it could not see the hard ware, cleaned with dishwasher liquid then with boiling water. The drawers close to the sink, had years of grease and dirt, no handle, therefore needed to touch that greasy edges to open the drawers. Coffee maker was very greasy and the top dishes in cabinet not washed still had coffee stain and food residuals, later found out the dishwasher has only one cycle working, light wash, no other cycles were working. D. the laundry dryer is so old and when I pulling out laundry, it burned my skin and left a mark I think the protective lining is gone. E. the sofa bed is not comfortable, about 12 inches below the sides. Also I had to vacuum all the garbage and dust collected under the cushion before pulling the bed out. F. Master bathroom: the tub water was not draining at all, pulled out tons of hair with the plug still every time showering mildew coming out the drain. G. The shower in living room: the shower handle came out, my son could still put it back until he could not put it back any longer. called July 4th, the day we came here for! the place repair person came here for hours, and that was our 4th of July. H. woke up with banging on the door July 5th at 10 AM, three maintenance persons informed me that the toilet in living room leaking downstairs, blaming me to do that, rude as heck, they did not close the faucet to toilet since it was so old that it could not be shut down and they left. then the first repairman came to fix the tub, he shut it down, but he had to call the plumber to fix this toilet, by end of the day I had to call to see where is the plumber but nobody informed me that they coming next day. I. left one day early, this was a horrible experience
