Welcome to Lockwood at Songo Pond. This exquisite house has been thoughtfully remodeled from top to bottom and tastefully incorporates an authentic cabin vibe with a new construction feel.

Songo Pond is one of the area's most desirable water bodies. In addition to being only a 10-minute drive from Bethel village, the pond is scenic, and this private water frontage allows you to swim and paddle at your leisure. During your stay, you will likely wake to the call of loons and the conversation of songbirds as the sleepy valley emerges with the, day.

Located mere steps from the water's edge, Lockwood at Songo puts you close enough to the pond to feel the summer breeze off the water while you watch the sun dance across the surface. The screened-in porch makes early morning coffee and afternoon happy hour comfortable, shady, and peaceful.

With a fully equipped kitchen, guests may find themselves more inclined to cook at the house and dine lakeside rather than drive into town for dinner. A gas range, leathered granite countertops, custom cabinetry, and upgraded appliances make food preparation easy and enjoyable. There is an open floor plan on the main level, and seating for everyone is comfortable.

The house sleeps eight people and offers four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

If you need a chance to escape, Lockwood at Songo Pond will provide you with just that. Come on your own for a quiet and reflective week, or invite 7 of your favorite people to share in lake life and create memories to last a lifetime.

Family Vacation

This house is perfect for family vacations! We had everyone from 4 years old to 65 years old. The house had everything you could imagine; games, water toys, dog bowls, a fully stocked kitchen, and so much more! The dock was amazing. You can hear the Loons daily. We spent most of our time on the dock swimming, kayaking, and paddling boarding. I can’t express how beautiful and amazing this home is. We are already discussing our next stay!

This home is absolutely gorgeous. It is immaculate and decorated beautifully.The vibe is cozy and comfortable plus it is stocked with everything you might need. The dock is perfect for fishing off or relaxing on. We tied up our boat there for easy access. The pond and mountain views from the home is gorgeous. We loved our stay here!

Exceptional stay—highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this property for vacation. It was the perfect amount of private space & communal space for my family with varying ages. The proximity to town was great while still being private & quiet. We really enjoyed the private dock & water access at the property. The hosts were very communicative throughout our stay, the property was very clean, and it was stocked with all of the essentials. We truly could not have asked for more & would recommend this to anyone looking to get away and make some memories in Maine!

Lake Life

Went on vacation with my son daughter in law and 4 yr old granddaughter and 3 month old granddaughter. My 4 yr old loved the pool (pond) we were out there all day. She even slept in her own room which was decorated so cute. We enjoyed the games and plenty of books.for reading l. The dogs even enjoyed the water. We will definitely be back!!

Quiet getaway

We live in an area bustling with tourists so we planned this getaway for the quiet and what we hoped would be a comfortable and lovely home. We were not disappointed. The home was perfect and the town of Bethel was lovely. We would love to go back again next September.

Best Deal on VRBO

Rare that you find a rental property that is as good as described but this house was perfect! It is a beautiful property and we had a great time. The house was well stocked and had everything we could have wanted. We plan to make our visit a yearly event!
