“Lovely and cute inn close to the Smokies. Felt very homely with great service and staff. Perfect for single traveler or couples. On the slightly ”bad” side was my bed that was slightly too soft and ready for an update. Right next to the highway with gives great access however bit noicy when using the balcony. ”

The hotel was amazing, but absolutely packed with pre-teen/teen kids who made the adult vibe of the rooftop bar & restaurant feel more like a Frankies' Fun Park. “This was our second time staying at Walden. The staff is extremely friendly. We needed an extra blanket and an extra towels which was provided at the time of asking with a smile. Kudos to the manager I can't seem to remember his name but he is amazing. I really liked and appreciated that if somebody had an anniversary or birthday they had a paper posted on the front door. “The whole hotel was very clean. Every day we seen someone cleaning different things and it smelled so clean and fresh. Are room was also very clean when we arrived. We had one small dog with us and was given a sign to post on our door so that the cleaning staff would not enter. Such a great idea so that our fur baby would not get out. When we needed more towels we just stopped at the desk and were able to get clean towels. No problem and the customer service was excellent”

“the parking situation isn’t great. the chlorine from the pool will knock you out as soon as you step out of your car. for a budget stay this hotel isn’t bad but the exposed wires hanging from the ceiling and the beds being massively uncomfortable is a do not return for me.”

“Jazzy was very sweet and made check in easy. Breakfast was great with many options. We enjoyed the swimming area. Our only complaint was the bathroom. There was a cracked tile that was exactly where you had to walk through the bathroom and our shower needed to seriously be clean due to the red slim on the floor and build up on the side of the shower. Staff was notified of this upon checkout. I was told that the tile was getting fixed after we checked out and nothing was said about the bathroom.”
