Luxury chalet/seminar vacation home with sauna, in the mountains of the Bregenzerwald

Our 4-star self-catering cabin, the Berghof, enjoys a sunny south-facing location on the edge of a small alpine village above Bezau in the Bregenzerwald.<br><br>Take the Bezau aerial cableway up to 1,210 m and reach the high plateau on the Sonderdach.<br>After a walk of about 5 minutes, you’ll reach our luxury chalet.<br>Before you lie mountains, forests, and absolute tranquility.<br><br>Inside:<br><br>The chalet features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and for romantics, a wood-burning stove is also available.<br>A high chair is also provided. <br><br>Thanks to its large windows, the living room offers a panoramic view of the region’s mountains.<br><br>A large flowing fountain in front of the house invites you to take a dip in the summer. <br><br>The 5 bedrooms, each with 2 (3) natural wood beds and freshly made linens, invite you to dream. As a special feature, one room is made of solid Swiss stone pine.<br><br>In total, the cabin can accommodate 12 people (including a sleeper sofa). An eco-friendly pellet-fueled underfloor heating system provides cozy warmth throughout the house.<br><br>The cabin features 2 bathrooms with a toilet and a wheelchair-accessible shower.<br>There is also an additional shower in the relaxation room in front of the sauna—ideal after a sauna session.<br>Two of the three showers are equipped with rain showerheads, ensuring a particularly pleasant shower experience.<br>The entire chalet is built from natural solid wood, creating a particularly pleasant indoor climate and a cozy atmosphere.<br><br>If you’re looking to unwind in the evening after a long day of skiing or hiking, simply use the in-house steam sauna with integrated infrared deep-heat radiation.<br><br>For workshops, seminars, etc., you can also book the multipurpose room, equipped with a Full HD laser projector, screen, Bluetooth speakers, a streaming device with Google TV (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc.) and a media player, microphone, Wi-Fi, flip chart, fully automatic coffee machine, and much more.<br>Prices upon request!<br><br>If needed, a beverage station with a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages is available for you!<br><br>A bread delivery service will bring fresh bread to the aerial cableway in the morning upon request, where you can pick it up at the mid-station (walking time approx. 5 minutes). <br><br>The approximately 250-meter-long path from the mid-station to the hut is mostly flat and has only a slight elevation gain. <br>For transporting luggage, luggage carts are available at the aerial cableway, and for the walk to the hut, two handcarts (summer) or a snow sled (winter) are available.<br><br>The large cabin (often called a “gondola”) of the Bezau aerial cableway can accommodate up to 60 people—so there’s plenty of room for your luggage as well. <br>Please note that the lodge is accessible to guests only by aerial cableway during its operating hours. Outside these hours, special trips can be booked upon request.<br><br>In both summer and winter, you’ll find plenty of recreational activities right from the lodge. From beautiful hikes, mountain and bike tours, paragliding, skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and bobsledding—there’s something for everyone.<br><br>For stays of 3 nights or more from May 1 through October 31, you’ll receive the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card, which grants you free access to all cable cars, public transportation, and swimming pools in the region.<br>Special Policy: For arrivals before May 1 or departures after October 31, guests staying at least 3 nights will receive the Guest Card for the period within its regular validity.<br><br>For arrivals in October 2026, an extended special policy is expected to apply, so that the Guest Card will remain valid through November 8 (excluding public transportation).<br><br>In the summer, you can set out on hikes, mountain tours,
