Fantastic hotel and host
Our stay was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the hotel was beautiful. Great breakfast as well 👌 On top of that Thierry that was working during our stay was a fantastic host. More then helpful with everything, restaurants, things to do and see, booking cabs. Even came with great suggestions for our next stop in San Sebastian. Thanks for everything Thierry /Eric

Fint hotell och bra service. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Perfekt läge. Det enda som var svårt var att hitta parkering. Fick dock tips om parkeringsgarage i närheten. Dyrt med parkering dock.

Litet dåligt, mest bra.
Incheckningsautomaten fungerade ej eftersom dom stavat våra namn helt fel. Pga detta fick vi vänta en halvtimme innan vi kunde komma in genom dörren. Irriterande! Deras frukost kan man hoppa över men annars så var personalen trevliga och behjälpliga med mkt. Läget var helt perfekt i ett kvarter med små mysiga gator och 10min promenad till de bästa stränderna. Rummet var litet men fräscht med bra AC och ren toa/dusch. Vi trivdes :)

Ok, but humid!
We stayed in a comfort-room for two nights. The location of the hotel is good considering it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main bus stop and about 5 minutes to the "Les Halles area". It is also really close to all the beaches. The staff were really friendly and helpful. However, the room we stayed in was quite small and felt really humid. We guess that part of the problem is that the attached bathroom didn't have any real fan system so when you took a shower the room got very humid and stayed that way for several hours. All in all, an ok stay. Would opt for a bigger (superior) room next time.

Mysigt hotell med bra läge
Jag och min pojkvän bodde tre nätter på Hotel le Gamaritz. Det var ett mysigt hotell med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vårt rum var i princip bara en säng men det var nog också ett av hotellets minsta rum visade det sig. Det var rent och fräscht och nära till Biarritz stränder, huvudgata och barområde.

bra hotell med allt vi behövde
två dagars besök i Biarritz för att återse området och staden. Lika positivt som förra gången. Hotellet ligger mycket bra i centrum ovanför den lilla badstranden och nära till allt. Mycket bra bemötande och service på hotellet. En mysig innergård gav skugga i hettan.

Great stay
We had a great stay at the hotel and were surprised how cozy the neighborhood was. We expected chaos, but found a perfect location to relax. Sure, it was a Monday and the crazy weekend had passed, but still. The breakfast didn't have enough items to impress us, since we are hard training triathletes.

Accueil très chaleureux, le personnel est vraiment super, petites attentions pour les enfants, superbe hôtel, tres propre et tres joli, situé idéalement a 2 pas de la plage du Port Vieux et des rues piétonnes.

Très bon séjour
Établissement très propre,bien décoré. Très bien situé avec parking payant a proximité. Personnel très serviable et à l'écoute. Literie confortable et petit déjeuner copieux avec produits locaux.Seul bémol le manque d'insonorisation de la cage d'escalier et bruits de la rue le matin pour nous habitant la campagne

Excellent choice for us to stay at this hotel. it is easily walkable to the beach and nearby restaurants and shopping. Thierry was an excellent host and always at the ready for us, breakfast was delightful. Will stay here on our next Biarritz trip.

We specifically requested a certain type of room, however upon arriving late in the evening we found we got a different room and due to no staff on duty after 8pm nothing could be done about it. After involving Expedia and arguing with a night manager over texts, next morning we were given the right room. The manager told us they never saw the type of room we ordered on Expedia and never got any notes from them. I would advise checking with the hotel directly if room type/bed setup is important to you or if you have any specific requirements. Also the hotel is marketed as family-friendly, however the walls of the shower room are completely transparent only partially covered by a foldable screen. It was a tough situation for our family with 2 teenagers. And also a family room has barely any space to put down suitcases and no closets. On the upside the hotel is very centrally located easily walkable to beaches, promenades, tons of restaurants and cafes.

Tout était parfais
Nous avons logé en suite. La chambre est grande équipée d un coin salon, sanitaire et douche séparé. L accueil est parfait. Le petit déjeuné est conseillé, car avec de très bons produits frais.

Accueil très chaleureux, emplacement idéal! cependant le stationnement dans la ville de Biarritz est très compliqué et honnereux. La chambre mériterait un petit rafraichissement au niveau de la salle de bain (trace de rouille), pas grand chose de disponible dans la chambre (frigo, café ...).

Merci de nous avoir fait confiance, et d avoir pris le temps de nous laisser des commentaires / pour ce qui est du stationnement et du prix, la ville de Biarritz affiche des tarifs comparable à toutes les grandes stations balnéaires. Pour l'équipement de la chambre nous ne sommes pas dans la catégorie des 4* ou ce genre d'équipement est obligatoire. Nous avons bien pris note de vos commentaires pour vous satisfaire davantage.

Our new favorite
Great little gem. Comfy, clean and fabulously managed by a caring and talented owner. His breakfasts are beyond delicious and are photo worthy. The great location is close to little hidden walkways snd shops. And a stones throw away from the beach. You can thank me later.

The hotel is amazingly located right by the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Thierry was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean and modern& the bed comfortable. The only slight downside was noise travels a touch due to the age of the building

Not a beachfront
It's not a beachfront or on the beach as it was claimed, but its close to the beach. It might be one of the differences between north American and Europeans. The hotel is simple, just the essencial: bed and shower, however clean and comfy. There is no elevator, keep in mind if you have heavy luggage. The front desk closes at 7pm, so if you'll arrive after 7pm, inform the hotel and they can help you with that. This was a plus for me. I did not see that when i booked this hotel and I panicked when I saw it... they were very helpful! Besides everyone is super helpful there. In general i had a good stay, the location was good!
