  • En rustik stuga inställning med den bekväma känslan av ditt eget hem, Running Bear välkomnar dig när du går genom dörren.

    Detta lyxiga hem ligger i en lugn domstol, inbäddat i tallarna, i en av Big Bear mest eftertraktade stadsdelar. Ännu bättre, det är bara några minuter från Snow Summit Resort.

    En vackert anlagd gård omger huset med sina naturliga träspår och tegelkolonner som lägger till bergskabinen på en mycket högre nivå. Barnen kommer att njuta av att komma in i trädgården som ligger i inhägnad bakgård!

    Kan sova upp till tretton, den här fem sovrummet, två och ett halvt badrum hem med inhemska, men västerländska woodsy dekor, rymmer en stor familj med alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter. Trä väggar, Aztec mönster och päls mattor lägga värme och hygge till ett mycket rymligt område.

    Ett fullt utrustat kök erbjuder ett stort kylskåp paneler med tall, som matchar den mycket önskade skåpet och diskutrymme, tillsammans med en centrerad ö för att laga mat till flera personer.

    Familjen rummet cirklar en sten vedeldad spis där du kan snuggla upp, dela historier eller bara slappna av och titta på TV.

    På övervåningen kan du ta den fantastiska utsikten medan du njuter av ett spel biljardbassäng / pokbord och ett spel pool på en vanlig sju fot biljardbord, eller koppla av i din egen bar och njut av en film på plattskärmen.

    Sovrummet talar för sig själv när du går in i rummet. Med en öppen spis, hans och hennes toaletter, dubbelsidig ingång, glas dusch och en "klo footed" badkar. Detta rum känns som en liten stuga på egen hand, på motsatta sidan av hemmet från de andra sovrummen för att säkerställa integriteten.

    Njut av omgivningarna och skönheten från det stora däck, inhägnad gård eller när du lagar mat på naturgasgrillen. Inbäddat i hörnet, bland träden, erbjuder en bubbelpool lugn under stjärnorna, eventuellt få en glimt av en Running Bear!

Everything was neat and clean and beautiful! We definitely want to book again next year. We usually book with Meredith but are very happy with our experience this year.The only thing I would suggest is the pool cue sticks need to be replaced or fixed. There was only one that we could use and we love to play pool!!!!

Fun for all ages!

We had a great Thanksgiving stay here with 7 adults and 8 kids. The kids loved the pool and poker tables upstairs. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. We really appreciated all the pans, bowls, utensils etc. that the kitchen is stocked with. We did have to go to the store for some basics, such as salt and pepper, dish towels, coffee filters, and paper towels for the week. The upstairs bedroom mattress was comfortable but the downstairs mattresses were really firm and not as comfortable (I believe the bunk beds were fine). This house is a great location, a few hundred yards to Snow Summit. The hot tub worked great. I think we used it 2-3 times during the week and never had a problem. This house has a big garage and driveway which are nice since you can't park on the street. Master bedroom has a huge shower, separate bathtub, and his/hers toilets. Very luxurious. The upstairs bathroom did not have a working lock, however. Ultimately our family had a wonderful time here!

2 Night Stay at Running Bear

Very beautiful house and great walking distance to Snow Summit. It was a little older, but overall great condition. However, the jacuzzi did not work and that was a main reason for our stay here. Called Saturday morning for maintenance and they had someone there by 1PM. He said it was good to go, but when we came home, Jacuzzi was still not working. Called again to let them know and they said they needed a part to fix it and would be a couple of days before they could get it. I called Sunday the day we were leaving to ask for partial discount because of the jacuzzi, but have still not heard back. Overall nice place, but bummed about the jacuzzi.

Great house for multiple families

Four families stayed at Running Bear for a short ski weekend and the house was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the kids loved the treehouse.

Awesome house. High end, tons of space. Beautiful kitchen and patio. Location was great. Quiet, close to everything this is a great rental for a large family or friend get together. We will choose this location again.

Stayed for two nights at Running Bear .

It was not my first choice but since the one i liked was booked. Other rental offers better space and amemities with better price. Over all, it is okay. The place is relatively clean. Internet is good. The cons: It has three car garrage but there is a small boat trailer occupied parking space. Some of the TVs need to be replaced because of picture quality. The small bedroom to the right of laundry room has an odor of stagment air which can come from the mattress.

Awesome Place

Our 4 families had a wonderful time at this house and in Big Bear. It was well maintained, well stocked, great back yard for kids, safe street with very few others around and simply beautiful. Can't wait to book next year.

Home Away from Home

We had a wonderful time at this Big Bear Lake home. There are two main living rooms for the children and adults to enjoy. The pool table in the loft was great fun for everyone. As the cook in the house I would say that the kitchen was very well stocked. Although I am glad that I brought my own casserole dishes. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels. We had a great time in the village and at the alpine slide park. Even though there was plenty to do around the lake the kids still wanted to be back at the house playing. The back yard is huge and beautiful. We enjoyed morning coffee and dinners on the very large back patio. Perfect place for a getaway for all ages.

The perfect home for a large party

We had four families for this trip with 5 children from 10 to 4 years old. They all loved staying at the home and playing in the game room. The fact that the home had two large living spaces allow kids and adult to enjoy the night freely. Furthermore, to add to the fun and convenience, the home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac but walking distance to snow summit. Our party had so much fun that they complained that the two night we stayed at the home was not enough. If we go back to snow summit next year, I would love to stay here again. The only thing the kids complained about was that the wifi did not work until the night we left but we did not call intentionally to prevent them from playing video game.

Fall colors

What a wonderful Fall getaway. This home is beautiful and welcoming for all ages. There is so much to do. We had fires going in both beautiful fireplaces and both TV's broadcasting different games. The favorite spot for everyone actually seemed to be the back porch with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the October Fest and look forward to spending more time in the Village. Thank you for sharing your mountain retreat.

Wonderful and Very Enjoyable

My family and I rented this cabin for a quick getaway from the city. We enjoyed our stay. Size size house with plenty of space for everyone. Really enjoyed the game room and bar area. The back yard was perfect for our kids and BBQing. My husband and I loved the master bathroom as we each had our own separate toilets and sinks made sharing a bathroom quite nice since we don't have that luxury at home LOL. The staff at Destination Big Bear are very friendly and provide great customer service. We did have a small problem with ants in the kitchen and they sent someone out within 15 mins to spray. I will use this company again for future stays. The Douglas Family

We love Big Bear!

A big group of us stayed at a Destination Big Bear property last weekend and we were all so wonderfully pleased with the service and quality of cabin we received! First of all, the booking process was very easy and straight forward. I felt like everything that was stated on the website during our search was an exact reflection of the final cost. We ended up staying in Running Bear and it was pleasantly clean and cozy. They had everything we could've wanted in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house was cleaned very thoroughly and all the girls in the cabin were extremely picky about small details and none of us had any complaints! The master bedroom was spacious and so were the other bedrooms. We did run out of clean towels but Destination Big Bear were there within 30 minutes with a clean set. I'd definitely recommend Destination Big Bear to anyone!
