Njut av alla uppdaterade funktioner inifrån och ut!

Det stora rummet har trägolv överallt, en eldstad för de kyliga bergskvällarna och utsikt över Bear Mountain som är höjdpunkten i rymden.  Mysig i soffan och titta på TV med en inbyggd DirecTV Now och Roku med HBO, Showtime och Netflix eller koppla av med en bra bok.  Köket har granitbänkar, apparater i rostfritt stål, en gasbricka med dubbelugn, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin och kaffekanna.  Matbordet har bänkplatser och är perfekt för en måltid eller spelkväll.  Stig ut till övre däck och grilla på propangrillen eller smutta på ett glas vin i frisk luft medan du beundrar utsikten.  Blötlägg all din stress i badtunnan på undre däck.

På bottenvåningen finns ett komplett badrum och sovrum med dubbelsäng.  På övervåningen finns en drottning och två enkelsängar för flexibla sovarrangemang.

Fireplace made a homey feel with a nice view of the snowcapped mountains.The lock box was was very difficult to open and the metal was extremely cold and painful to touch to try and get the key out.Not enough towels for the bathroom and kitchen.Need a left over box for kitchen dry goods that past vistors have left. ie sugar, dry creamer, jelly, peanut butter, etc...Need to have a instruction manual printed out and left on the table on how to operate fireplace and lights.and remotes. Notes that were taped to the walls were too small font.Cutting boards in drawer had a very foul odor. Need to be cleaned.Need to have sundries box of left overs from previous vistors such as left chargers, hair dryer, hand lotion, etc...There wasn't a laundry or dryer to use.No dishrack to dry plates.Bedroom light bulbs wattage was too low.Need a decrative mirror in the livingroom for when the bathroom is in use.

To find the entrance was difficult. The directions take you to the address which is on the street below the cabin. Parking is limited. Inside is very small but adequate. Kitchen is very nice. Furniture is really just what you see in the picture and not very comfortable. The view from the deck is great!

Terrible Experience – Left Stranded by Host

We had an extremely disappointing experience with this property. When we arrived at 6 PM (two hours after check-in time), the driveway was completely covered in snow and had not been plowed. Despite multiple attempts to contact the owner, they did nothing to resolve the issue until 10 PM, leaving us with no choice but to book a hotel for the night.To make matters worse, instead of taking responsibility, the owner canceled our reservation, leaving us stranded with no alternative accommodations. This was completely unacceptable, and the lack of communication and accountability made the situation even more frustrating.If you’re looking for a stress-free stay in Big Bear, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience was a complete nightmare.

Issues need to be addressed

The details for how to get to/into the cabin need to be rewritten. The address number listed is incorrect. The cabin is actually behind the cabin that the check-in instructions lead you to. It’s very confusing. We were at the wrong cabin for 30mins (standing outside in the freezing cold in the dark) trying to figure out how to get in. We finally discovered we needed to drive through a wooden gate (that you need to manually open and close every time you leave the property) and found the cabin we were supposed to be staying at. None of this was specified on our check-in instructions. I also read some of the prior reviews and this issue has been brought up before. It’s unfortunate that they have not addressed it. The fireplace also did not work the entire time we were there (another prior complaint). There was a used hand towel in the bathroom when we arrived. And lastly, the king bed frame in the downstairs room needs maintenance. We hardly slept due to the squeaking every time we moved. This was an anniversary getaway for my husband and I, and we were really disappointed in these accommodations.

The Perfect Cabin!

I was looking for somewhere lowkey to spend my 30th birthday and I am so glad I ended up here. The cabin was the perfect size and the view was breathtaking. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the Mountain View. It was a delight to see snow on the mountain even though it is well into May. The cabin itself was fine, the king sized bed in the main bedroom was a nice perk and the beds upstairs were perfectly fine. The kitchen provided everything we needed, the only thing they did not have was glass wine glasses, which was a bit of a bummer but not the end of the world by any means. I highly recommend staying here. I almost don’t even want to leave this review because I want to be selfish and keep to myself! ☺️

Cozy and breathtaking views

It is cozy, the house heats very well. The jacuzzi was clean and hot. Beds are comfy. My favorite part is the location next to the ski mountain and especially the view. I couldn’t get enough.

Nice place with beautiful views

Overall we had a great stay at this property with a few exceptions. It was the perfect little place for the 2 of us. The design and decor is well done and the heater kept it warm. Comfy beds. The reason for only 4 stars is due to the check in process. We never heard anything and I had to call a few times (property company) and they finally were able to “release” the property after trying to reach the cleaning person which didn’t happen until almost last minute (4pm) so we we’re sitting in the car in the driveway for a while waiting. The text instructions didn’t indicate that there was a lock box w a physical key so another call had to be made to get in. The power wouldn’t go on so another call had to be made and they were going to send a tech out but my husband found the breaker box and that worked but it happened again, so we were concerned. Luckily it didn’t happen a 3rd time. Other areas of improvement: we got the place for the views but the windows in the living room were dirty and smudged so I cleaned them. The glass surrounding the hot tub was so filthy that they actually obstructed the views. There was no way for us to clean these since it would involve a ladder. That was a bummer because those views would have been amazing. Would be better to just take that glass out. Couple other minor things, blender leaked and didn’t work well, ice maker in freezer didn’t seem to work and there was no hair dryer (usually provided) and no counter space in bathroom. Good otherwise.

Great Winter stay

Came for two days of snowboarding. Everything worked great in the house and it was very warm to come back to after a long day. Hot tub was amazing and beds were comfortable. No complaints. The buttons on the hot tub seemed to be miswired as none of them really did what they were supposed to do but I believe they all worked if you find the correct function you’re looking for on a different button :P. Great stay though would book again.

Beyond our Expectations!

We couldn’t of found a more perfect place for our stay! This beautiful house is much bigger than it appears online. It’s set in a really quiet beautiful neighborhood overlooking the golf course and the mountains in the distance. The full kitchen spectacular. The Jacuzzi was perfect after a long day of golf. The beds were comfy and everything was really nice and clean and neat. We most definitely will be back to this house! The management company that we dealt with was so kind and easy to communicate with.

Lack of Communication

While the property itself was gorgeous and we loved the view, we ran into so many problems throughout our trip. For starters, 3 out of the 5 amenities listed were not working (no internet, no hot tub, and no fireplace). We called multiple times to get these things fixed but they were not fixed during the entirety of our stay. When we spoke to maintenance, we were asked if we knew what the make/model was of the spa and what provider the internet was -- isn't that your job? Because of the snow, no one was able to come out and there was no assistance provided over the phone beyond "make sure the cover is on." We used our phones as hotspots for internet and were unable to use the spa as it was stuck at 55 degrees. The fireplace would not turn on. When we booked the property, we didn't receive any instructions on how to access the facility, what the key code was, what the wifi password was, where to park, etc. It wasn't until I called four separate times that we received that information piecemeal. Luckily I did call because the place to park was NOT where the address took us to. Finally, when I wanted to speak to someone about our experience, I called on a Sunday and was told I would receive a call back that day. I did not. Then I called on Monday and was told my account was never flagged and that the earliest I would hear back was Wednesday. On Thursday, I followed up and was told that it was likely I would hear back Friday. On Friday, I called TWICE and was told that the two times I had called had not been logged. After multiple attempts at reaching someone who could actually help, I was refunded some of the cost. I will say that the facility is beautiful and the view is great. I will also say that the people I spoke to were kind. However, there was so much lack of communication and disorganization. We will not be back.

Great View and Stay-cay!

I speak for myself, and the other 2 guests, we had a truly amazing stay! The size of the location was more than adequate for 3 people. The place was clean, inviting, and the hot tub was very relaxing. There's an outdoor deck with a grill, small table with 4 chairs, and 2 Adirondack Chairs, which made the experience outside, even more relaxing. I didn't receive the text from the property manager with instructions on how to enter the property, so we had to drive down to the office, where I was told that my cellphone number wasn't entered properly. That was the only minor issue we experienced. I would definitely stay here, again! p.s. I saw 4 shooting stars the last night of my stay :)

Upgraded

The bunk house was what I reserved, but the big Bear destination company called me the day of my reservation to inform me that there was a plumbing issue and they upgraded us to three legged moose. The house was amazing. Overall we had a wonderful time. Big Bear Lake is a beautiful place. If you need a free place to sled and play in the snow check out club view drive at the top of the hill.
