This property did not disappoint! We rented to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our young adult kids, their sig others and dogs - and it was perfect! From the amazing game loft to the fenced in outdoor area, we were entertained the entire time. We can’t wait to come back in the winter!!

Bachelor party weekend

This place was perfect for a mountain town getaway. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of amenities on site or near by. Our neighbors even celebrated us. I appreciate the communication i was able to have with the property management team during my stay. Will definitely come again or another site through them.

Ski weekend

We all had an excellent time enjoying the fun activities and amazing kitchen at this house. Very clean and very comfortable beds. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Great family lodging

The home was very nice and clean. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed all of the entertainment options, both inside and out. Great covered patio to just sit outside and enjoy nature.

Big Bear Vacation

The cabin was exactly as advertised and pictured. Plenty of space inside and outside with several options for entertainment. Additionally, we brought our dog with us so the fully fenced yard was nice.

Christmas stay

Cabin was well kept and had all the essential one would need. Christmas tree was also put up and exterior decorations made it even cuter. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a place to spend indoors.

Sweet Family Cabin

Our family truly enjoyed this mountain escape! The kids loved spending time in the loft playing foosball, air hockey, pool, and shuffle board or running around the backyard playing basketball, corn hole, horseshoes, and hopping in the spa! The big open kitchen was lovely for cooking and eating all our meals, as well as playing board games and doing puzzles! The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. We would love to come back!

Nice place

Great clean cabin. Just had a few small issues,but were fixed pretty quick. They might want to think about replacing the couch in the living room it was pretty beat up for a place charging thos much to rent a night.

Games are great here

The best part of this house are the games and location. Teens loved it. Glad we read other reviews as the pillows on the bed were flat and only had two on each king bed. Luckily we brought our own pillows and blankets so thank you other reviewers! Hot tub was great. TV upstairs didn’t turn on. Fan broken and management brought a replacement quickly. There’s a charge for towels if make up comes off on washcloths. They have signs posted in the bathroom. Great space to hang with family and even had outside basketball in addition to indoor games. House had good space. Have to drive your garbage at end of stay to dumpster but this may be for all of Big Bear rentals? House had wine glasses and dishes. You do have to drive to an office near the house for some reason and then they email you a code to check in. Not sure why they do that process would be best to go to house directly. Hope this review helps other travelers!

Jacuzzi buttons did not work, the water was so hot it burned my skin and made me really itchy that I couldn’t couldn’t stop itching my legs and intern ended up with a lot of bruising on my legs.

Bumpy start but great vaca

The property manager tried to do us a favor and convinced us to switch our reservation to another cabin so we would have onsite sledding. When we arrived at the new cabin it a) had no space for sledding; b) had NO SNOW; and c) was a dump compared to the place we originally booked (and had a disgusting clogged toilet and the beds looked like they had just been slept in. Thankfully our original cabin was still available (Snowmass) and they were able to switch us over easily. This cabin was terrific for kids. Game room is fantastic as advertised. Basketball hoop was used by boys. Close to summit and town. The cabin was very nice overall. We ended up having a terrific stay.

Nice game room

The best part of the property is the game room, pool table, air hockey, and foosball. The air hockey table has pucks not made for the table (too small and light) so playing a game is difficult. They fly off the table. It is a fun area and nice that it’s in its own area of the house. The little table upstairs we used to put together a puzzle. It was fun! The TV’s in every room is nice. They are very high and rather small in the bedrooms without the ability to tilt. Liked the kitchen and great room layout. The kitchen is lacking necessities. No dish soap, or dish towels. The lack of dish towels made us consume more paper towels than necessary. The owners had plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. There was a perfect amount of towels for our families needs. Plan to bring your own dish soap, towels for the hot tub, and kitchen items. The knives were very dull, can openers didn’t work very well, and missing some things like measuring cups and ziplock bags. Not really much for pantry items like spices, which we expected. The hot tub was nice and clean. Many areas of the house is locked up. There is no access to the garage at all and some closets, cabinets, etc in the house. I didn’t think the no access to the garage was made clear enough in the listing. There is plenty of places to park including a side parking area. The master bathroom is nice with a large walk in shower with dual shower heads and large tub. The jets in tub do not work (fyi). Bring your own pillows! The ones provided are terrible. Very cheap like free pillows you get on an airplane, and the bedding was very rough. We had some trouble with property mgmnt prior to our stay, they told us the house would be decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree, prior to our booking then later said it would not be (a week prior to stay). They ended up coming through for us and putting my one in, which we greatly appreciated. The stress until it was resolved wasn’t fun. They also charged for the stay at random times with no real method behind it. Typically with a VRBO it’s set amounts at set times. Thought this was bizarre. We rent with VRBO 3-4 X’s a year every year. You also have to go to the property manager location prior to check in and meet the property manager in order to get access instructions, which is promptly at 4pm. No earlier. Show id’s and go through a lot more hoops than a typical VRBO to access. Overall it was a nice stay and my family enjoyed it.

Wonderful Cabin for making memories!

This is a beautiful property with plenty of fun things to do! The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxation, and the game room was a hit! The cabin is clean and spacious! If you are thinking about booking this property, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed! Very close to the slopes, the Village, zoo and stores!

Cozy, Clean, FUN

We had intended to spend a fair amount of time exploring Big Bear Village. But in the end, we mostly stayed at the cabin because it everything needed for a great weekend away. Highly recommend!

Great place!

Great place with lots of FUN options inside and outside! We loved it!!!. I would have given it a solid 5, however, our only disappointment was that the jacuzzi was not serviced before our arrival and it was not filled or cleaned. Once we reported this matter it was handled fast and the water was "shocked" but it was too late for us as we were leaving the next day and not ready for use.
