Yvonne’s Place in the Pines captures the easy pace of summer in Big Bear - afternoons spent hiking nearby trails, boating on the lake, grilling beneath towering pines, and soaking in the private hot tub as the mountain air cools in the evening. Located just two blocks from Snow Summit on a quiet corner lot surrounded by mature trees, this single-level cabin offers a comfortable mountain setting close to everything while still feeling peaceful and tucked away.

Living Spaces
Inside, the cabin blends classic Big Bear charm with a relaxed, family-friendly layout designed for gathering after a day outdoors. The cozy living room features a gas fireplace, Smart TV, comfortable L-shaped sectional sofa, and large windows that bring in natural light and pine tree views. Whether you are watching movies after the lake, playing board games at the dining table, or simply relaxing indoors with the windows open to the mountain breeze, the cabin feels warm and inviting throughout every season.

Kitchen & Dining
The full kitchen is fully equipped for both quick breakfasts before adventures and laid-back dinners back at the cabin. Guests will have access to a Keurig coffee maker, cookware, baking sheets, BBQ utensils, dishwasher, stove, oven, blender, and dining space connected to the living area for easy entertaining. Just outside, the spacious deck includes a gas BBQ, outdoor dining setup, and seating surrounded by tall pine trees, creating the perfect place for summer cookouts and evening meals outdoors.

Outdoor Living
Summer at Yvonne’s Place in the Pines is centered around the outdoor spaces. The large fully fenced yard provides plenty of room for kids and dogs to play while adults relax beneath the trees. The private 6-person hot tub sits beside a large wood swing, offering a peaceful place to unwind after hiking, mountain biking, or lake days. Guests can also enjoy cornhole, outdoor seating areas, and the quiet mountain atmosphere throughout the property.

Sleeping Arrangements
The cabin sleeps six across three bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private en-suite bath with a dresser, luggage racks, and mirrored closet - a quiet retreat after a day on the mountain. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, ideal for couples or anyone wanting their own space. The bunk room sleeps up to four with a twin-over-full bunk and twin trundle - a favorite with kids and perfect for larger groups or family getaways.

Location
Yvonne’s Place in the Pines places guests close to Big Bear’s most popular year-round attractions. Snow Summit is just two blocks away, while Bear Mountain, Big Bear Lake, marinas, hiking trails, restaurants, grocery stores, ski and bike rentals, and The Village are all within a short drive. The home also includes parking for up to two vehicles, gear storage for skis, snowboards, bikes, and sleds, and easy access to shuttle service nearby, making it an ideal home base for both summer adventures and winter ski trips.

Maximum occupancy is 6 guests at all times in accordance with local regulations.

Parking is limited to 2 vehicles maximum. Parking is accessed from Crestwood Drive, the cross street behind the home. Please park only in the designated driveway and carport areas.

Pet-friendly - up to 2 dogs allowed with approval. A $85 fee per pet, per stay applies.

Yvonne’s Place in the Pines is located just 2 blocks from Snow Summit, approximately 5 minutes from Big Bear Lake, and under 10 minutes from The Village, restaurants, grocery stores, hiking trails, and local attractions.
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.

(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.

(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.

(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.

(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.

(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.

(7) Pet- All pets must be disclosed and pet fees paid in full prior to your arrival. Please be sure to clean up after your pets, please do not allow them on the furniture or bedding, and for their safety do not leave them outside unattended. Any pet waste left inside or outside of the home or damages to the home are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees.


(8) Hot Tub – No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open and the cover off more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in pipes freezing - if a user error or maintenance is found or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up. This is out of our control as sometimes the water has to be dumped and can take 24 hours to warm up. This will not be grounds for a refund.

(9) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.

(10) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.

(11) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.

(12) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.

(13) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.

(14) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
