You will experience great customer service with very polite and friendly staff who is interested in you and always seek to help you. It was a lovely stay at my very first ryokan.

It was great having a nice communal seating area/bar in the main part of the hostel. We were able to sit there for as long as we wanted when we were too tired to do any more walking in the heat.
