“We stayed three nights at the Hotel Square in Tomintoul. Although this is an older facility which could use a few updates to rugs, curtains, etc., we were very happy there. The hotel is clean, beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large and supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. We had a lovely stay!”

The village was small, sleepy but nice to stroll around. Some pubs and restaurants, we didn’t try them. A Coop and some small nice shops, we visited a fishing-shop at High street with a service-minded owner. There is a museum but we didn’t visit it.”

"Vi hade läst en hel del negativa saker om hotellet, men det var helt ok. Rummen var fina och byggnaden slottslik. Ett par negativa saker var det "knarrande" golvet, varje steg hördes över stora delar av hotellet. Dyr frukost (15 gbp och även dyr restaurang för övrigt)."
