The hotel was extremely dirty. My room was”not ready” when I checked in at almost midnight. It was under construction and covered in dust and debris from sheet rock and mud. The room was not clean besides all the extra debris everywhere. I was told by the owner it is fine it’s just from the repairs. I requested a new room or for my room to be cleaned in the morning with the same desk clerk from the previous night and when I returned 12 hours later the note was crossed out but the room hadn’t been entered by staff. We were then directed to sit in the lobby for over an hour while they found someone to clean our room. The only thing this hotel has going for it was that sweet extremely kind desk clerk that night. There were three others who came to complain about the conditions of their rooms while I was sitting waiting for my room to get cleaned. The room was half cleaned and the carpets were soaked when we were finally able to reenter. Multiple guests including myself asked for a room change or refund and they were all denied by the manager and owner. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and lack of care by the owner was so disappointing.
