“I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! ”

“The room was impeccable, with lovely thoughtful touches such as a radio and bath robes. The products in the bathroom were an extremely high quality. Comfy bed and perfect locations. The staff were so friendly too. Would highly reccomend. ”

“Both the double bed and the extra beds for my teens were very comfortable. The room was spacious and well furnished, with good storage, and both a desk and a table. There was a nice lounge/breakfast area overlooking the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even let me check the room an extra time a few hours after checking out, as I thought I had forgotten something! Also had free luggage storage both before checking in and after checking out. Would absolutely stay again!”

“Hotel was a great location, clean and warm and all the staff bar our initial welcome by a receptionist was first class ( we did not see that receptionist again - cold, abrupt and not bothered) but everyone else was amazing. The peacock bar was lovely and a nice twist on major cocktails with a Yorkshire twist and the breakfast was so nice, great staff and freshly cooked food nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend. ”

“Det var en dröm som gick i uppfyllelse att besöka York. Bussturen till Whitby genom naturreservatet the Moors var fantastisk. Vi åt gott på bland annat Bombay Spice och the Blue Boar, och har träffat många hjälpsamma människor.”
