Nice and relaxing country club with everything you could wish for. Rooms are nice and clean.

This is only a 4 star hotel because it has a spa/pool. Without that the rooms are dreadful. Poorly maintained, smelly, dated and noisy pipes even if you turn the radiator off. Not worth the £126 for one night, maybe half of that.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Cleanliness was below standard in the shower and had to ask for towels. Cleanliness in the pub restaurant also not great.

Wife had a spa day whilst I went to watch the villa. They upgraded us from an executive double to a deluxe suit when my wife checked in and it was lovely! Room was spacious, clean and had everything you would need. The staff were friendly. We are at a local pub, which was nice. Local area is a bit remote, have to travel a few miles in either direction for a shop or food, but apart that’s no problem if you’re driving. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Above average but more to do
No food after 9 frustrating as didn’t arrive until later . Staff all very helpful the windows poor lots of noise I appreciate closeness to motorway. That said I’ve stayed in a hotel near the runway at Heathrow and couldn’t hear the planes so it can be done.

Overnight stay
From Arriving to leaving the staff were exceptional. Front of house staff were really helpfull especially trying and succeeding in finding me a screwdriver because my car key fob was not working. My Room was spacious and very clean no complaints. Dinner was served in one of the restaurants which was quiet busy. But did not wait any extra for service. Breakfast was buffett style but great choice. The fitness suite was good also. Overall no faults.

my stay was lovely, the only complaint I have is at breakfast on both days - the plates were dirty, I had to move several plates before finidng an acceptable plate. On day 1 I had to wipe dirt off.

Stay here quite often and it’s generally always good. The food at the hotel is poor though , the menu never changes and quality is not so good , it’s always feels like it’s microwave food

Lovely hotel just could be warmer
Me and my son stayed here for one night. Cute hotel overall, just i wish it was warmer in the room. Very friendly staff in the spa. Super cold female changing room, felt as if we were outside, draft was felt and it was quiet messy with some wine glasses left (maybe there was some party before). Two showers were not working (had signs), overall it could do with a bit of revamp. However, I was very pleased with the swimming pool that was very warm which is a great bonus. We ordered room service and food was delicious. Breakfast was not with huge choice but overall good. Again, I wish it was warmer as could feel the draft. Therefore, the hot food did not feel that hot. Oh, we were woken up at 6am as there was someone with a dog staying just across our room.
