Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This townhouse is by all means breathtaking , it’s a 2 bedroom townhouse , with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed upstairs and one queen sofa bed down stairs 2 bathrooms one upstairs and half bathroom downstairs. The patio with the view is amazing you will love . Kitchen is fully equipped to make your own meal the way you like. 2 parking spaces.

The house smelled old and stale. The furnishings are from thrift store. Rusty knives, filthy shower and liner, bedding was not changed after last stay, there was hair all over the pillowcases.

Immediately upon arrival, we could smell mold. We investigated and found black mold all around the ac unit and the entire house was damp, I know it’s summer in the south but this was abnormal. We all started sneezing and got headaches. We left within an hour and got a hotel. We let the owner know and he was super unkind about it and refused a refund and said we were just trying to get out of paying when that wasn’t the case at all.

Problems with hot water. Air conditioning had to be on high to keep upstairs cool. So down stairs was cold. Small bugs by coffee pot. Dirty wash cloth in tub. Musty smell. Sink in kitchen leaked.Convenient location.

Weekend trip for a dance competition

This townhouse is in a very cute and friendly neighborhood. The house was clean and communication with the property manager was exquisite. The pictures listed do make the property appear larger. The driveway is very steep so be careful getting in/out of your car. The townhouse is older but it served its purpose. We were here for a dance competition weekend so we were only in the house to sleep and eat before starting our day. The house had an odor sort of like a stale or vacant scent, it actually reminded me of when I was younger and played in my granny's basement. I would suggest some plug ins or odor eliminators placed throughout the property. The lighting in the living room could be better, it's very dim and dark in there. The floors squeak so I wouldn't recommend if that bothers you. The backyard is amazing and a great pace for meals weather permitting. I would probably rate this place a 7/10.

Scare of booking online!!!! RUNNN!!!

When we arrived my finance was who went to open the door and check the entrance by the face expression when she turned around was not pleasing. First thing stated was the smell and that some things was not the same. So after going inside I immediately pull out our travel kit as in things like (Lysol and air freshener) That still was not working so I sent her to the Walmart while I stayed back to see could I just minimize it. Even after all that plus a store run I was over it and my Fiancee seen it all over my face so we immediately left. A whole weekend payed for (almost 500) and now had to go pay another 400 just to feel comfortable. After trying to reach out to the host he finallly replied Saturday and gave every excuse and even acted like he had no clue of what I was talking about. But in the end admit and just say it tend to have that smell when being closed up (but in multiple msgs he stated someone had just check out a few hours upon our arrival. I would not suggest this home to anyone unless you just really don’t care about to many things. Oh and I’ve been having sinus issues since Friday nice Valentines weekend huh. !!!

Ad is incorrect. Property is 2 bedrooms with 2 beds (one full size and one king size). Townhouse had a STRONG musty smell. Maybe from not being used very often? My allergies were not happy about it. Not sure what the "breathtaking view" was that was mentioned in the ad. It was just a street of townhouses on both sides. Heat in 1 bedroom did not work AT ALL. Maybe the duct was plugged or disconnected somewhere. I did make sure the vent was open. Made for very cold nights. It was impossible to get in touch with the owner as the phone number inside the townhouse was not working. I had to call Vrbo to have them email the owner that I was checking out. I guess this was better than a hotel because it was bigger? Im not too sure. I can't recommend this place unless it gets a thorough cleaning and its issues fixed.

A nice safe neighborhood

The property is a bit worn. The deck was not available for use due to work in progress. The property was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, bath towels and coffee. The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe. There was very little traffic or other noise. The beds and bedding were excellent! Very comfortable.

Amazing Quiet Vacation Spot

Would definitely stay here again! Booked super last minute due to hurricane evacuation and the host made sure to let us check in earlier than expected and we were able to rest after such. long ride. He had great accommodations including children’s stuff that kept my daughter entertained and happy throughout our stay. Thank you so much for being so acccomodating!

Weekend trip

Spent the weekend at this location with two friends. Wonderful time here. It was 20 min from downtown Birmingham and easy to get to. I recommend this location to people who would like to stay close to downtown but not deal with downtown traffic.
