Safe, secure, and comfortable

Although the apartment wasn’t the one in the pictures, it was perfect. A lot of security to check in and go in and out of the building. Pool was clean, two BBQ stations, gym, and lounge. Walking distance to Starbucks, Publix and other restaurants. Everything we needed to cook in the kitchen, saving us instead of dining out. Host is quick to respond and helpful. Will definitely book here again!

Nice play to stay in Birmingham- poor host communication

Pros*Parking was easy, safe and a short walk to the apartment.* The apartment was clean and we felt safe there.* Walkable location. We were there for the NCAA basketball tournament at Legacy Arena. It was about a 20-25minute walk and gave us chance to stretch our legs and see the city each day. There were restaurants and a Publix nearby as well.ConsI had an email in January confirming our stay and that we would receive check in instructions the day of our stay. 2 days before we were to stay in Birmingham (we are from out of state) I sent the host a message just to confirm our stay and to get some information about checking in.No response. On the day we were to check in, we began our travel so I sent another message. No response. When we were 2 hours away with no information, I contacted VRBO, and they finally were able to connect me with the host to get our check in information. VRBO was very helpful, but the complete lack of communication caused a lot of stress and I was looking for alternative properties while on the road because I didn't know if we had a place to stay or not. * Shower. The shower dial did not work and we only could get scalding hot water until it ran completely cold. I did not want workers in the apartment, so I didn't contact the host about this until after we checked out, but I have not received any apology or response about this inconvenience. We worked around it the best we could but it was definitely a low point in our stay.

Location can’t be beat. Around the property I felt unsafe. Apartment itself is okay, clean-ish, spacious, for the price it’s alright. Needs some repairs. Close to UAB which is what I needed. Host was very responsive. Wouldn’t stay again unless there wasn’t other options.

Last Minute Business Trip

Parking garage bottom level was a little sketchy(multiple people sitting around the building or in their vehicle at all hours) Unit itself was clean and comfortable. Would recommend this owner and unit for anyone coming to Birmingham

Great Location

We stayed for 2 nights and we had a great experience. Property manager answered all our questions regarding parking and entry into the building. The apartment was nice and clean. We enjoyed visiting all of the local breweries. The restaurant next door was amazing. I highly recommend staying here!

Property, Location, Convenient & with Potential

The Host for this property is exceptional! The property itself has so much potential & needed a more thorough inspection before renting. The main issue on the inside of the unit was the AC leaking water onto the floor. The Host did try to get it resolved. Our stay was brief & because the water stayed ‘puddled’ in one area we worked around it. The upkeep on the outside (lights out in the hallway & above the door of the unit & less desirable were large trash containers by the parking lot entrance overflowing, etc) needed attention.
