One night at The Bull
Great value for somewhere within walking distance of central Birmingham & nice not to be staying at a chain hotel. Good homemade food & great beer - its a CAMRA beer guide pub.

Great value and a good stay.
The rooms are above the pub are well maintained, nice and warm and quiet. Bed was not too comfortable though. Great value.

A good cost option for staying in Birmingham City Centre and the Pub downstairs is cosy and encourages you to have a couple. Its great that there are still places like this available. Got a nice cat too.

Pleasant stay at the Bull
Stayed as a couple whilst attending a Christmas party nearby that finished late. Perfect for this, friendly pub with 12 rooms upstairs, clean, more equipment than expected (kettle, iron, trouser press and smart TV) and although near the ring road we weren't disturbed by the noise. Would stay again

Great place to stay - the room and pub are cute with antique furniture. Not the most luxurious room, but it has everything you need, is nice and spacious, and I can't fault it for the price.

PROs cheap rate so cheap quality, super outdated but fine for me, v clean, v friendly, tea coffee tv in room, large modern shower room, public parking @ £7/day 10 steps away, 15 mins easy walk to town centre CONs they cancelled breakfast at 11 the night before, area is v run down, filthy, litter, right near dual carriageway though we didnt hear it

Great bargain value accommodation
The pub is a short walk from St Chad's tram stop so was easy to get to. The room was comfortable, compact, but perfect for one person. Smart ensuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. All the staff were very friendly, as were the locals in the pub. Excellent beer and good value for money. There was some noise from the road but I was expecting that when I booked. However, I still had a good sleep on both nights.

Nice traditional pub.The triple room was a bit small for 3 adults but ok for a short stay. Good sized modern bathroom. Road noise was not a problem for us but the surrounding area is badly littered spoiling the overall good experience.

The location is very good, but the room not
Unfortunately my room was not good, it was too loud at night. The room was not cleaned well and the bed was very uncomfortable and somehow damaged.

Ok hotel for a short stay.
Hotel was ok it did it’s job but room wasn’t the cleanest. Left over shower gel. Discarded rubbish on the window still. Dust on the light switch and a pubic hair was next to the shower and did not notice it till I was in the shower in the morning. Landlord of the pub didn’t look very happy at all hardly no communication from him when I walked into the pub. Also one of the shower tiles on the floor was coming away

Clean comfortable no frills night
For the price, this was amazing! Staff super friendly on check in, room was clean as were common areas. Some of the decor was a bit tired, and there were a couple of cracked tiles in the bathroom, but for a place to rest my head after a long day it was ideal. Close to a busy road and the windows were only single glazed so if you're a light sleeper you might need earplugs.

Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber. Dann tropfte Wasser von der Decke. Das Fenster war defekt, somit konnte man es auch nicht öffnen. Das Hotel wirkt in einem sehr schlechten Zustand

Cheap & Cheerful
If you are looking for a cheap overnight stay fairly convenient for the city center then this may tick a box. If you are looking for somewhere for a special occasion then look elsewhere. Room was tiny, road noise was overpowering and window had to be opened as it was a red hot day. Could feel all the springs in the mattress.

Nice staff, it was very very hot so had window open at night, it right next to the ring road so traffic noise was very loud along with street lights keeping me awake, curtains were nice but not sufficient to keep room dark
