Toppenhotell på bästa läge i Birmingham UK.
Ett mycket vackert hotell i perfekt läge. Trevlig personal och fina rum med alla dess bekvämligheter som man kan tänka sig. Frukosten var suverän. Personalen var personlig och intresserad om vem man var samt intresserade om vad man tyckte om hotellet. Enda lilla minus är tiden då man får rummet städat. Vi kom tillbaka klockan 16.00 efter en dag på stan och då var inte rummet städat. Men för övrigt kan jag varmt rekommendera detta perfekta hotell mitt i fina Birmingham

Vraiment magnifique hôtel, très bien situé. Nous avions le déjeuner inclus, il y avait beaucoup d’options au menu. Super séjour en famille..

Hostess in the bar was rude and unfriendly. Another staff member went to seat us (told us the table was available for an hour which was fine) and she came over and said we couldn’t sit there and then had a row with him in front of us about it. Felt really uncomfortable and left. We spent our money elsewhere (apart from the hotel room we had already paid for). Their loss. Party on the ground floor on the Friday night was very loud we could hear it in our room on the 7th floor. Tried to clean our room at 5.15pm when we had just back after being out all day, so didn’t get our room cleaned after the first night. Really want to like the hotel, but they made it really hard to after our experience in the bar.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from the shopping and train station. The room was well equipped and very comfortable, with tasteful decor. Only slight disappointment was that we were unable to use the bar. Apparently, it’s table service only and to ensure a table, you have to book in advance, which we weren’t advised of.

Beautiful hotel, room was spotless with great facilities, iron and ironing board, tea coffee, chocolate bars, waters, fridge, toiletries. Great location for local pubs and restaurants. Friendly staff.

Good not great
A good hotel. The breakfast isn’t great - flavourless eggs and avocado - nor is the gym. But it’s comfortable, the staff are nice, and well located.

the hotel itself is near the shopping, bars and restaurants but just enough to be entry on a side street so you can relax a little from the chaos, the only negatives i can think of is getting harassed for change everytime your outside hotel - and for 3 nights that meant almost each time i enter or leave hotel which they should really do something about, and the vegetarian options of room service should be improved a lot and should be all hours for the 5 star level of hotel

No kids
The Grand is very central and easy access to the shops, bars and restaurants on the door stop of a 5 min walk to the bullring. The loft room was fabulous for a couple and spacious in our opinion. We loved the coffee machine. The Bea was so comfortable and cosy. We will definitely be staying here again

Beautiful, grand hotel with wonderful staff
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were super friendly and welcomed us and our dogs. The hotel is stunning and our terrace overlooking the square was beautiful. Breakfast was great, really attentive service. Extra special thanks to the American? manager of Madeline’s bar. He went out his way to accommodate a change in our booking. Highly recommend. We were sad to have only discovered the outdoor terrace at check-out on the 1st floor. We felt the hotel was lacking a welcome guide to its amenities. We had no idea that the mini bar was included in our suite etc. Apart from that, 10/10.
