“Well situated. Hotel felt a bit dated but we got a good rate so I guess that reflects it. Staff were friendly but service a little slow and inefficient. We had two rooms for our family. My room was fine but the second room the shower didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom which was a nuisance. I slept perfectly well but it would have been nice to be able to change the temperature- the panel in my bedroom didn’t seem to work. Rooms were clean but looked like they could do with a refurb. ”

“When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. “The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. The door to our room you could close from the inside with a hard shove but you couldn’t close from the outside so we couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room. “The whole process of being able to stay there was awful. I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent. I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common. At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open.”
