âWe stayed one night at Garden street inn on our road trip down Highway 1, and this is such a lovely place! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, the hotel has a perfect location in the centre of town, and the service is excellent - an amazing home cooked breakfast and tea, coffee and cookies in the lobby.
Overall a great stay, we would absolutely recommend to stay here and weâd love to be back! â
âWe found the hotel comfortable and the location great for exploring San Luis Obispo on foot. The room itself was rather dusty and there were some obvious stains on the wall in bathroom, and although we told the reception about it, it was never cleaned up. The hotel has a breakfast buffet that is quite chaotic. There are not enough seats for all the guests and you have to wait around for a seat while your breakfast gets cold. This hotel is good for families but couples may want to find something...
âGreat service as soon as we checked in. Wine and small platter starting at 5 was really nice and the wine served was actually really good. Our room was clean and roomie. Pretty happy with overall experience!!â
âLovely large room with super comfy bed. Would have preferred a true continental breakfast rather than just a couple of meh pastries delivered at 7am. Coffee was good! Love the overall decor of this property! We highly recommend!â
