With stunning mountain views from every room, the cabin is 15 minutes from downtown Black Mountain, and 25-30 mins to Asheville, Lake Tomahawk, and other local attractions. Enjoy spacious bedrooms with king beds, ensuite bathrooms and a fully-stocked kitchen. Onsite entertainment options include a 120" movie screen, yoga nook, outdoor firepit, pool table, board games, & hot tub.

Spacious loft with a queen bed and adjoining full bathroom, as well as a cozy reading corner stocked with books of all genres.
Walk-out basement with 10' ceilings, 120" screen and projector for an in-home theater experience with assorted movie collection or streaming access, yoga nook, pool table, and bar area.
Second master bedroom with king bed, dedicated reading area, attached full bath, and direct access to hot tub outside.
Second guest king room with an ensuite full bath.
Laundry with washer/dryer and a designated pet cleaning station* to cater to your furry companion's needs.
High-speed satellite internet available on the entire property.
Parking for 6-8 vehicles.

About Us:
Welcome to our home away from home! My wife and I live just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, with our adorable (and mischievous) Goldendoodle, Cinna. Our desire for a mountain escape away from the city led us to build Moksha Retreat, where we and our canine companion can enjoy beautiful, quiet sunrises and even more captivating starry nights. We designed Moksha with all our favorite amenities we’ve enjoyed in our years of frequenting vacation rentals. We invite you to make use of the gourmet kitchen, enjoy a soak in the hot tub, tell stories around the fire, engage in a game of pool, or practice mindful meditation in our yoga corner. Winter Weather Advisory:
Before You Arrive Check the Weather Forecast: Monitor local weather conditions in Black Mountain and plan your travel accordingly.
Vehicle Preparation: If you’re driving, we recommend a vehicle with four-wheel drive or carrying snow chains, as some roads may be icy or snow-covered. Check your tires and ensure they’re properly inflated and winter-ready.
Travel Time: Allow extra time for your journey, as roads may be slower in snowy conditions. What to Expect at the Property Snow Removal: We’ve provided a snow shovel to keep pathways clear.
Heating & Comfort: The property is equipped with a reliable heating system and a propane fireplace in the living room in case of a power outage. Extra blankets are also available for added coziness.
Local Travel & Outdoor Safety Roads: Local roads, especially in hilly areas, can become slippery. Drive slowly and avoid sharp turns or sudden braking.
Footwear: Pack sturdy, non-slip boots to navigate snowy or icy conditions safely.

Power Outages: The property is equipped with rechargeable flashlights and batteries stored in the kitchen.
