Terrible hotel, very noisy. Can hear every sound from the room above, creaky floorboards and squeaky beds. Function room must have been right below our room and the noise carried at 23:30 I could hear every word said by the DJ and the continued sound of the music. There was no prior warning when booking that this would be the case. Everything in the room was very dated and looked grubby. Check out was at 10am which is very early considering the loud function room beneath us kept us awake. There was no option of a late checkout either, apparently due to changes made during covid.

I had a seizure in the fire exit in the hotel on valentine's night staff were terrible my husband used the phones in the hallway located on landing in hotel dialled 0 to connect to get get from reception no response I could of died I will be lodging a complaint against the Savoy hotel

Staying at the Savoy
we stayed for three nights, we cannot fault the Savoy for value, comfort, cleanliness and convenience. We will go again , looking forward to summer in Blackpool.

The weather was terrible for two days, but there is a tram stop over the road from the hotel, so we got about nicely and kept out of the worst of the rain. The hotel was warm clean and comfy and peaceful at night. Thankyou.

Satisfactory
The hotel was absolutely fine for our one night stay. I feel that the bedroom we were allocated could have benefited from a little TLC, however no major work was required. The hotel itself is quite an impressive looking building, both outside and in.

Rooms out dated. Stinks and showers were crap hot then cold could easily burn someone no heating on but rooms were too hot even with windows open.

Poor hotel, in definite need of an upgrade , beds like solid board pillows terrible like sleeping on a brick. Poor Would not return.

Nice for the price.
Hotel was fine for the price. Staff at check in and check out very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean but slightly run down. I would have no problem stopping again

Savoy Hotel Blackpool.
The hotel is an old building and although some refurbishment has been undertaken there are number of areas in the hotel which require attention. We were bed and breakfast and the food was plentiful and hot.

Good clean cheap stopover - yes the room is dated, yes the hotel is "battered" but at the price it was comfortable -, friendly welcome - slept like a log. Plenty out of season street parking nearby.

Paid £75 a night then they asked £12 for a breakfast. The tables were dirty, serviette’s stuck to the table. The place is old and Very tired. Staff were pleasant enough but to be honest the place is a disgrace.

Slightly out if town centre but not far... On promenade and tram stop opp..... Old hotel but still clean and comfortable value for money.... Only one concern was the pipes and ducts outside our window seemed to be leaking so we closed window..... Good base if you're exploring Blackpool but want bit peace and quiet from bussle of centre

Good class accommodation
Good class accommodation, the room was spacious for the price, and there was minimal noise from other rooms. Definitely one of the better class hotels to stay in, although the uncomfortable bed was the only downside.

If I was born in 1920 the room would look okay. Booked queen beds but got 2 v hard small singles. Window was locked.H&S bad. Bathroom okayish but I didn’t use shower we used wet wipes as safer. Clientele in reception was very poor in attitude, rough swearing v bad. Noisy all night. Never will return.

Okay, but wouldn’t return
The hotel is extremely dated. Rooms very small. Holes in all the carpet. The showers will either burn your skin off or freeze you to death. Beds uncomfy with blood stains on the sheets. Heard horror stories from locals about the state the hotel rooms are usually in. Floors very creaky and you have no other option but to slam the doors so expect it to be noisy. The staff however were very welcoming. Don’t be fooled with “parking” the car park is small and you’d be lucky if you managed to get a space. For the price it’s okay. But I’d deffo go elsewhere in future
