“Linda and her family were very welcoming & helped with any questions we had on the property or farm.
The cottage was very well equipped, and nothing that we needed to take bar food & drinks.
We would stay here again and had a lovely time! ”

Rooms are equipped with electricity outlets, wifi and tv for those needing it. The pub itself is fantastic with a very well stocked bar. “Hotellet är ett hus från 1600-talet som renoverats med mycket fin känsla till ett bli ett mycket trivsamt hotell. Det ligger precis i kanten av Dartmoor, med mängder av skönhets- och naturupplevelser. Det är verkligen drömmen om den engelska landsbygden som uppfylls. Allt är bra, från de fina rummen till den jättegoda frukosten. Vill man äta middag på hotellet kan man göra det, och serveras då vällagad, god mat. Vill man äta ute finns flera pubar i närheten.”

“Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Gorgeous view. Food was good too and I appreciated the breakfast hamper although some might prefer a hot breakfast. Only minor annoyance was hearing lots of kitchen noise when I was trying to get an early night. But I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to get up to ask anyone to be quiet! Overall I would go back. The staff were all lovely and helpful and found me safe overnight storage for my bike. ”
“From the start walking into reception staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure both myself and wife had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The room was immaculate, tea & coffee on tap, bottled water, fresh milk in the mini fridge.
Breakfast was covered from full English, continental, fruit & yogurt, toast to mention just a few items on offer to cater for all,

We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding ,
We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,)
Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready ,
