“There was a power outage in San Marcos which delayed our check in. When we finally got checked in we had to move rooms from an upper floor to a lower floor because the elevators were not working. I was quite surprised that the hotel did not have a back up generator. The new room we were in there was body hair throughout the restroom and a potato chip underneath the bed. Luckily this was a one night stay for us.”

“The best part of the stay - an important part- were the beds. The lighting in the rooms are LED and harsh on the eyes. The noise from the freeway (and I live near a freeway) were much louder than anticipated. The rooms wedDefinitely bring noise cancelling headphones or a sound machine. I wouldn’t stay again. It was only ok and the location was less than ideal.”

“At LiVaway, it was great! Everything on the room was extra clean and I can assure all the amenities were new. The door to gi into the rooms was always closed you had to unlock with your key card. Nice feature!”

“The lady at the front desk was very positive, with good energy. The room itself wasn’t bad. But the bathroom had a plunger in the corner. The carpet had a sticky feel to it. I wore sandals to avoid my feet touching the carpet.”

“My go to spot when I visit my son in San Marcos. It is a great for a couple's trip or friend trip. River access, a fun pool and bar. All the units I have stayed in have been beautiful. Cannot wait to book again.”

“Our particular room smelled like mildew and moisture. The bathroom appeared clean but the sink and shower smelled otherwise. I would not recommend staying at this location for the price.”

“Front desk people were nice, but the bathroom didn’t get cleaned from customers prior to us, dirty rag was left, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap was left in shower. The rest of the room looked like it had been cleaned (hopefully) not just put together meaning clean sheets and not just bed being made. Didn’t think I had to look at the shower before the next morning upon getting in.”
