A modern hotel over the road from Geysir
This is a very nice modern hotel built for easy access to the Geysir geothermal area. I honestly cannot say anything bad about the hotel - nice large rooms, modern but relaxing interior in hotel and rooms, good restaurant with excellent food, and a well prepared breakfast in the morning. A fun feature was the sitting alcoves where you could take in the scenery (but unfortunately it was not possible to see the hot springs from there). However, the Geysir area is just over the road from the hotel, and since it is open all day long, if you stay at the hotel you get the opportunity to see it almost alone when the tourists left for the day. Overall, highly recommended if you drive around Iceland.

Interior beautifully done
Really nice location with view to the geysir from its restaurant. Room is spacious but the balcony is smaller than expected. Interior is very beautifully done by good interior architect.

This hotel was gorgeous! It was a little spendy but worth it for us since we had a very long day of traveling and sightseeing in the wind and rain without a bed for 36 hours. We took in happy hour before enjoying some time in the beautiful lobby. The breakfast was incredible! I would recommend being the first one there to see the beautiful display, the quietness of the dining space and the unbelievable views of the steam from the geysirs. The whole experience was worth every minute of our short time there.

Best hotel i had stayed in Iceland. My wife and i had a wonderful time, wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the amenities around the hotel. We enjoyed a fine dinning at the hotel restaurant too. Love this hotel. I told the receptionist we will be back. She told us there will be a spa soon. Hopefully i get to enjoy the spa at our next visit.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à l’hôtel Geyser. Le gros avantage est sa proximité avec deux sites (les geyser et la cascade de Gulfoss). Nous avons récupéré nos clés très rapidement et sommes partis tout aussi vite, pas de perte de temps à la réception. Le logement était propre, le petit déjeuner compris était bon et le restaurant pour le soir (ouvert dès 15h) vraiment excellent bien que onéreux. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de SPA dans l’hôtel.

Food at the restaurant here was delicious! Hotel was so nice and clean looking, beds were comfy, and super close to golden circle activities. Plus they have NL wake up call. Only issue was there was bugs (inside) near the window which was off-putting.

The hotel is beautiful with excellent public areas and a fantastic location. Room was reasonable but not as upscale as expected. We arrived about 90 minutes before the official check in time, and even though the hotel was empty, they insisted on charging a fairly hefty early check in fee. Seemed really cheap and lacking in hospitality on their part. We decided to cancel our hotel dinner reservation and go somewhere else, so I’m not sure how that benefited them.

The accommodations were perfect. After a day of traveling and we had the most restful sleep. The bed is plush and comfy. The staff was welcoming. The breakfast was delish! The geysers are just across the road and so easy to access from the hotel. We would stay here again!

A beautiful hotel that has a lovely aesthetic. The food was delicious too. The beds are very comfortable. I had the deluxe and really loved soaking in the big tub. I am tall so it was nice to fit in the whole way.

Fullkomin hóteldvöl, frábært starfsfólk sem gerði allt fyrir okkur. Frábær matur. Við vorum hópur saman, fyrra kvöldið vorum við með samsettan matseðil og seinna kvöldið pöntuðum við af ala carte. Allur matur frábærlega góður 5 stjörnur. Eins vantaði gas í gasarininn sem er staðsettur í anddyrinu. Næsta dag var komið gas í arininn, Frábær þjónusta. Við söknuðum Spa svæðis, heitir pottar og gufa. Annars allt flott. Takk fyrir okkur.

Like many hotels in Iceland if you are an independent traveller be prepared for the chaos at breakfast caused by large tour groups, as they appear en masse and you will find queues for food and drink at the buffet. Hotel is right opposite the Geysir so it’s easy to wander over to the site when the crowds have all left.

Excellent location across from Geysir. Comfortable beds. Excellent rainfall shower. Loved the window seat. Amazing dinner at the restaurant on site. Many options for breakfast. Aesthetically impressive overall design. Closet & coffee area could use a little more lighting. Easy check in & out. Glad I chose this for a one night stay.

Opposite to the Geysir attraction, this was a good stopover during our Golden Circle drive. Rooms were large and clean, with nice decor. The restaurant can get crowded during meal times but it is large enough so that one does not feel claustrophobic. Food from the restaurant was great!
