“Very friendly and helpful staff. Checkin was really literarily a none event, as we just had to use the entry code for all doors, given over email. The establishment is brand new, as it was inaugurated in July this year. Comfortable beds, great blackout curtains and a dead quiet environment made sleep very easy and enjoyable. “This was an amazing motel. The kitchen had every utensils that we needed during our stay. Even though it was basically in the middle of nowhere, the car ride into Selfoss didn’t feel that long (the view is making it feel closer). The only negative I have to say is that the beds were rock hard, but we solved it by sleeping on the extra comforters from the bunk beds. I would highly recommend this motel, and I’ll consider another stay if I come back to the same area. ”

Vattenkokaren var för stor för att få under kranen i badrummet. Det stod att man skulle kontakta boendet på förhand för att arrangera check in - det behövde man inte. Absolut ett boende att rekommendera!”

“Nice historic place very close to allot of tourist attractions. The hotel is an old school. It looks beautiful and the people working there was very nice. The shared space is very cozy and the room was an OK size. The breakfast could be better but the dinner was good. ”

“We were very happy with this room which is more of a small apartment. Modern, very clean and quiet. Also had stovetop, fridge, freezer but no microwave. The bed was comfortable and the best we slept in during our road trip in Iceland. But think about this! The GPS address provided by Hotels.com is incorrect and only leads to an empty road intersection. Hotels.com also gives the address of the town of Selfoss, which is not entirely correct. In reality, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere,...
