Charmigt hotell med härligt läge!
Vi hade fyra dagar på hotellet. Vistelsen var överlag bra. Dyrare generellt i turistorten Bled. Charmigt hotell, lite slitet men det hör väl till charmen. Det bästa var att det finns solstolar och badmöjligheter i direkt anslutning. Gratis lån av roddbåt var bra! Fem stjärnor till SPA-personalen! Proffsig massage!! Bra läge men mycket trafik utanför hotellet (på framsidan). Bo antingen högt upp eller mot sjösidan är ett tips.

Bästa boendet
Fantastiskt boende direkt vid sjön Bled. Klassiskt Grand hotel med historia och många prominenta gäster. Service var utöver det vanliga, receptionen gjorde sitt bästa för att vi skulle få en sån fin upplevelse som möjligt. Härlig frukost, fint poolområde med badstege direkt i sjön. Vi firade 10 år och kunde inte valt ett bättre hotell.

Fint hotell i Bled
Hotellet har perfekt läge vid sjön Bled med egen privat strand. Personalen är mycket trevlig & serviceminded. Rummet var bra men inte lika fint som byggnaden i övrigt. Kan absolut tänka mig att bo på hotellet igen men då skulle jag boka ett rum med utsikt över sjön.

Fantastic hotel with great service and personnel. The location is perfect, we're totally recommend the rooms with lake view, so beautiful! Very good breakfast as well. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

the view of the lake is like paradise. the staff most helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. The atmosphere is like bygone days. The hotel evokes nostalgia to the last century. We had a wonderful Anniversary celebration.

Excellent location on lake. Public rooms fantastic views. Excellent breakfasts, we didn’t eat there at night but there is a fine dining restaurant open only Fri and Sat when we were there. Downside, our rooms faced away from the lake and there seemed to be a problem with wasps/ ?Asian hornet on 4th floor

Excellent location
All staff and service excellent. Lovely breakfast. Location amazing. Great sun terrace and swimming area, although limited service in that area. Hotel needs renovations now, rooms very tired, hopefully can be updated without loosing the classic look.

It was a beautiful hotel in a great location on the lake with an incredible view of the castle. The only negatives I have is the standard room was small and the bed was very hard.

Long weekend at Grand Hotel Toplice
Drinks service on the sun deck can be a little slow - but it’s so relaxing who cares. A beautiful peaceful few days in a stunning location. Probably the cleanest rooms I’ve ever seen.

Overall good, but not great, as it should have been at this property. First, excellent lake view suite, comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom with robe, slippers and hair conditioner. Large balcony to relax at the end of the evening and watch the birds flying over the lake. Anja on the front desk was delightful and very helpful. She recommended restaurants when the hotel Michelin Star restaurant was not available (something we had been looking forward to). The breakfast service was chaotic and clumsy. Staff were functional rather than helpful and welcoming. I suppose some might still be training. We were not offered any A La Carte options on our first morning and everything was serve-yourself, including tea and coffee. Food quality and choice was good though. On the 2nd day of our stay, there was no milk in our room to make tea/coffee. The hotel is an excellent base for all of the top attractions at the lake - it certainly has the best views of the castle and the island. But service and guest satisfaction (from all the staff) could be better.

Beautiful lake bled
Lovely hotel in perfect position on the lake . East walk into main area for restaurants and access to the lake . Staff were nice only gripe would be poor service getting drinks not enough staff waited ages on numerous occasions . Also the bar closes at 10 pm far too early for a top class hotel and no night service only mini bar in room !

The hotel is located directly on the lake with an amazing view. The hotel has old world charm, but our suite needed a full update due to drab and old furnishings and poor lighting especially since we got the suite for a 5 star hotel and we didn’t get not a regular room. Also the bed was uncomfortable (it was an air mattress). Breakfast was adequate, but had much better on our trip through Croatia and Slovenia. The best part of the room was the large terrace with amazing view of the lake. If it wasn’t for the view would give it a 3 star.

Superior hospitality! A welcome champagne and a fruit plate after check-in. Housekeeping is excellent. Breakfast is great. Lake view is stunning! Highly recommend this hotel.

Exellent location and efficient, friendly staff. Only one criticism, We wanted to try your tasting menu but it was fully booked for the week and the dining options were not explained. The reception were most helpful re booking other restaurants in Bled. We had an amazing week, thank you.

This hotel is amazing! The location, staff and breakfast were great so I highly recommend! I think the spa experience could be improved a bit. Maybe a greeting from staff and some info on where everything is. When we went, there was no one at the desk and afterwards I said hello to someone who was walking around and got a hello back but nothing more. There were no refreshments and the cafe/bar beside the pool was closed.

Highly recommend Grand Hotel Toplice
Fabulous property, room, service, view, and breakfast. Reception and concierge staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, comfortable, and was exactly what we wanted. Easy walk to nice restaurants and great views of Bled Castle and the island. We would gladly return. Well done!

This hotel is very beautiful and has really lovely amenities. The private lakeside lounge & swimming area was really nice. Breakfast was lovely. The spa was great as well. My only complaint is that the beds are super uncomfortable — old, extremely stiff, creaky, and overly bouncy. Every time my husband or I moved, we woke the other up. And the air conditioning did not blow in the bedroom so we had to leave the door open (we had a suite) to keep cool. The view from the balcony made it all worth it though — it was absolutely spectacular. You can see the entire lake, from the island church to the castle to the town. It was surreal.

What a wonderful stay on such a beautiful property! We loved the location, the wonderful sun deck on the water to enjoy laying out and using the row boats and paddle boards. But the biggest highlight for us was the staff! They all truly went above and beyond for our family. A sweet lady (we unfortunately forgot her name) helped us track down our family that we had never met and she contacted them for us and within 2hrs we were at our cousins house. She was amazing and she herself was so happy for our family. But everyone at the hotel was so gracious and wanted to help us in every way. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone. Thank you for making our family vacation memorable!

First of all, this hotel is closed down due to COVID. They moved us to a neighboring lesser-quality hotel without informing us which made for a relatively stressful check-in. The other hotel, Park Hotel, was 3* at best. Cranky staff, poor air conditioning, and no amenities in the room such as shampoo or conditioner. We’d definitely go back to Bled again but we certainly won’t be staying at a Sava property.

Loved the position, enjoyed the spa and we had, in the main, some delicious evening meals. However...it was very bleak at times to be the only guests dining, apart from a party of , 'Chinese '(?), who were seated at one end of the large dining room. My husband is gluten free, and although we explained this at length, we still had to send food back occasionally despite constant reminders. Food on these few bleak nights tended to be below par but twice we were moved to the a la carte restaurant ...delightfully cosy and the food was sublime. Breakfasts were good..pleasant choice but fish and meat etc needs to be covered. The majority of the restaurant staff were reactive rather than proactive with two exceptions..Lucija and Mirko gave exceptional service and we left with a genuine fondness for them. The rest of the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean...fabulous views, liked the period features ...but it was spoilt by the dull dreary fabrics and wallpaper which sucked the light out of our room. All in all a good stay...but only good.
