Welcome to Bloom! The Hoosier Suite invites you to stay away in downtown Bloomington, IN. Our suite has all modern appliances and finishes, tray ceiling lighting, and cream & crimson stripes to dazzle your eyes.

Watch a game on our 55 inch smart Samsung TV while sitting in our one of a kind vintage IU chairs ~ legend has it Bob Knight threw one of these! Or catch the game live and take a vintage seat cushion to the game for your comfort.

Please note this unit can get noisy in the mornings and evenings as it is located steps away from Brothers Bar & Grill and is in downtown Bloomington. The suite has door access from the main street, Walnut. We have added a sound machine to drown out the busy street sounds.

The suite has a staircase inside upon entry leading you to the great Cream & Crimson wall! The studio boasts a king size bed, all modern Samsung appliances, and 55 inch Samsung Smart TV.

We showcase one of a kind vintage Indiana University chairs for your enjoyment in the dining area.

It was nice, modern and clean! Bed was very comfy. It couldn’t be in a more perfect location to catch a show at Bluebird, quite literally across the street. Parking and rental access was super simple. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!

Great location. Adorable and clean studio. Comfortable bed and pillows (super comfortable)! Has shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Only issue is that it is right on a street with college bars so it was quite loud until 1-2am (this was a Thursday night). They have a sound machine there and I was fine with ear plugs. The host was wonderfully responsive in answering questions!

Great place in a nice central location around nightlife and restaurants. The bed was very large and comfortable and the ac worked well. It was a great experience and the facilities were up to date.

Very clean, well communicated. However, there is a small wall A/C unit that does not keep the property at a comfortable temperature when it is warm outside. I’m sure it is fine during cooler seasons, but when I arrived the thermostat read 83 and I kept the A/C running my entire stay and I could not sleep most nights because it was so hot. The unit meant to keep the property cool simply isn’t large enough. While this was a nice location, and it is well maintained, I doubt I consider staying here again.

Great location, great host

This location is right at the downtown square, where there are lots of restaurants and bars. I was there to do some research at the university and found the location ideal. Depending on where you going at IU, it's about a half mile to the main entrance. This VRBO is clean, and I could do laundry and cook. Samira is conscientious and an excellent communicator. I had a very minor issue and she addressed it immediately. I'd stay here again.

Great Bloomington Weekend

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Samira's downtown apartment. It was clean, very well furnished and full of IU pride. Fantastic space for any length of visit and the unit contains everything you may need. We also had a fantastic dinner at Samira's retaurant below the apartment. While the noise from the bars below was sometimes audible, Samira provides a noise machine and other amenities that help to address any concerns. She has truly thought of everything! 10/10, would stay here again.

Hoosier Suite was FANTASTIC! Absolutely spotless and HUGE! Everything looks brand new! The location is the BEST! You can easily walk everywhere. I parked and never moved my car again all weekend. At night it is noisy (across the street from Bluebird) but only for a little while. I would absolutely stay there every time I go to IU!

What a great weekend getaway for any Hoosier fan! This location was fantastic for anyone wanting to hangout on the square or visit the local happenings on Kirkwood. The suite was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having a washer and dryer and small kitchen. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect location!

We were drawn to this property because of the location, which was ideal! Very walkable to downtown shopping and restaurants as well as campus. The space, though small, was immaculately clean and very up to date in furnishings, kitchen and bathroom. The IU themed decor is also fun! Our host, Samira was extremely prompt and thorough in all communications. Would highly recommend this property for 1 or 2 adults (1 bed, no couch)

Perfect!!

The apartment is immaculate and the location perfect for walking around the square. I love the IU items and the bedding was comfy. Keep in mind it’s a one bedroom but it is very well put together with high end construction. It is located next to a couple of bars so keep that in mind on a Friday or Saturday night. I will be staying again for future visits and possibly next month. Well done!!
