Wonderful Chalet…Wonderful Views
This was one of the best cabin weekends we have had! The chalet is cozy and the Mountain View’s from the farm are wonderful. We appreciated the snacks left by the host and the overall cleanliness of the cabin. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice Place
The overall impression was good. There are 2 important points to highlight: 1- The bedroom doesn't have doors, this detail does the house with no privacy for adults; 2- The bathroom is extremely narrow, if you are a man like me ( 270 lbs), taking a shower is a very challenging situation.

West Hazelton Visit
The location was nearly perfect. Away from all the traffic of 80 & 81, quiet and the view to the north was wonderful each morning and evening. It was a home away from home. We have decided that we want to repeat the visit to the area same time each year. I hope the lovely place will be available next year. Kind regards Gary

Peace and Quiet
We were looking for a quiet place between two states so our families could meet at a midpoint. As the listing stated, a rustic, tranquil, cozy chalet is exactly what we got. Family loved the place. Our hosts were responsive to all our questions prior to coming, hospitable, and accommodating. We will definitely book again in the future because this was a great experience! We found our midpoint!

An unforgettable vacation!
Our first impression of the cabin was great! It was super cozy and clean and exactly what we hoped for. The first evening, we were hit with really bad weather and lost electric/plumbing for the remainder of our stay. The co hosts, who live across the street had a tree fall onto their house and they still had time to go out of their way to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Tiffany and Chris were so kind and generous to offer us a free night because of the inconvience of loss of power. We can't say enough about how special this trip was, not only because of the one of a kind experiences we had, but also because of the wonderful hosts. We recommend this rental 100%!

Perfect for us
Rustic, very quiet and comfortable. We had several deer visit the yard, and fireflies everywhere in the fields around us. We were away from the cabin in the evenings, but would have enjoyed a campfire provided behind the cabin had we had the time. We hiked at Rickets Glenn State Park about an hour drive north of the cabin. Well worth the drive! Multiple waterfalls in a beautiful forested setting. The stairs leading up from the basement and up to the loft bedroom might be an issue for some considering this rental, however we are both 67 and had no issues. We would definitely consider this rental in the future

The Great Escape
Loved every bit of the chalet except the lower steps only because I have a bad leg and had trouble maneuvering and the other entrance was too far for me to walk. The whole place was beautiful, indoors and out. We loved having a firepit in the evening. We hope to come back sometime and will recommend to others. So peaceful!

Overall super nice. Maybe post more ceiling pics or just pics in general was worried it was gonna be small. Cleanliness was not the best. Spider webs and dust and dirt all over. Good communication tho.

We enjoyed this retreat from city living - outdoor space to explore, star-gazing, camp fire, fishing, etc. When the rain forced us indoors, the AC kept us cool. We'd have enjoyed a few more seats for relaxing and eating inside. It comfortably seats 4 in dining and living room, even though there are beds for 7 people. Also the stove and oven were dirty, setting off the smoke alarm the first time we turned them on.

Staycation
There are no words to describe the fun and relaxing time spent in this home. Everything was super clean and convenient. The house feels as if it’s in the middle of nowhere and that is exactly what we were looking for! My dad was on the grill all day, my boyfriend enjoyed lighting sparklers on July 4th and the girls and I enjoyed the walk down to the pond. Needless to say, we hadn’t left and were already planning our next stay!! Did I mention that the co-hosts were so pleasant, welcoming and fun?! They even hooked us up with farm fresh eggs since someone (ME) forgot the eggs at home!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Wonderful stay In this Chalet!
Over the years we’ve been fortunate to have stayed in several cabins and on National Park sites. Of all our experiences, our stay at your chalet is at the top of our list. For us, the amenities on site and the proximity to so many cities provided us with an excellent rest when we weren’t out finding excellent restaurants like the Iron Fork (Danville), and West End Ale House (Bloomsburg). We also took some time to walk Robbins Trail in the Hess recreation area in Danville. SugarLoaf is where we found a grocery with lots of food stuffs to bring back to the cabin for our evenings and early mornings and where we also happened upon Tom’s kitchen where we had our first breakfast of the trip. In a year where work has been hectic, the re-charge we experienced at your home base was exactly what we needed! Wishing you and yours a Very Happy New Year! Terry and Peggy York, Pa.

Beautiful Views
My family and I enjoyed the beautiful views and cozy cottage. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and as a jumping off point to local attractions. I hope it is available next year! Some larger beds in the loft would be nice and perhaps a pullout sofa in the living room but overall it was great! A bathtub/shower would also go a long way for families with small children at bath time in the evenings; or you can do what we did and wash them with some soap and water in the yard with the hose. They loved it!

A rustic Chalet with everything you need!
What a wonderful place! The views from the windows is amazing. We saw deer in the side yard while we drank coffee in the morning. It truly has everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. The Bedrooms were comfortable, clean and inviting. The Kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. The Family room was clean and inviting with a nice smart TV and WiFi internet. The only complains I have are the toilet was slow to refill after a flush, the shower has no shelf or storage space for shampoo bottles or soap. I wish the shower head was a bit higher and had more flexibility. Lastly I wish there was a door on the downstairs bedroom for more privacy. But to be honest these were small complains that didn't ruin our stay. Overall, it is a great house and I would happily stay here again in the future.

Quiet & Beautiful Surroundings BUT...
We arrived to a snack box sitting on the table which was a nice touch. The surroundings were very nice and quiet. Nice fire pit out back and a nice stock of wood to burn. As advertised it did sleep all 7 of us and the property owners were very nice when we had a mishap and we worked together to get it solved. The down sides to this rental was... Although it slept 7 as advertised, there was 4 seats at the dining room table to eat, and 4 seats in living room if you wanted to relax... It is not a total let down, but for the price paid per night, if it sleeps 7 people, it should be able to entertain 7 people at the Dining room table and living room as well. The Horse Flies all around, The Bees that live in the right side beam of the deck, and the other summer insects in the country were enough to make doing anything outside just not worth doing. (I understand, some of this cannot be controlled). There is no Dishwasher as advertised. The Washing Machine barely works as there is very little water pressure at this location in the first place. The pond pictured in the photos is not on this lot, it sits behind a house across the street, The person living in that house is not the Owner of the Chalet, but someone the Owner called a "Co-Host" and we were "Welcome to go to the pond behind their house if we wished." This to me does not meet the description of "Cozy Chalet on private 130 acres." Its not "Private" if its shared with the neighbors across the street. With everything considered, I feel a 3 star overall rating is VERY generous

This cabin has everything you need! Comfy beds, extra blankets to snuggle in while hanging out in the living room. We loved sitting on the deck watching nature. We used the fire pit every night. Beautiful inside and out.

This cabin was very nice to stay at. The property owners, Tiffany and Christopher were great from beginning to end. The snack box was a nice idea. We went to Knoebels first and then headed to the cabin for 2 nights. The new AC unit worked great. Of course the scenery around the cabin was beautiful. We even got to see deer the one evening. I believe we will be coming back at some point again. Thank you!

Quiet, Quaint GetAway
We booked the chalet for nearby trips to Centralia, PA and Knoebels Amusement Resort. What a lovely property! All linens were included and the kitchen was fully equipped. We adored the wrap around porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. There was plenty of room for the 3 adults & 2 children staying there. The property featured a ready to use firepit, coffee maker (with coffee, creamer & sugars!), decent WiFi and Netflix equipped TV. We would absolutely stay there again! One note to other guests--this is an open floor plan chalet. If you need absolute privacy and quiet, this is not the place for you. The upstairs bedroom is a loft open to the first floor and the other bedroom does not have a door on it. Also, I assume for venting purposes, the bathroom walls did not go all the way to the ceiling. It was fine for us--I could see some people having an issue with that. Also, the entrances to the home are steep. You initially enter the home through the basement and the staircase is tight and tall. You can also enter through a ramp off the deck through the yard. Great communication with owners about anything we needed. Gorgeous views from the deck and what a light show the fireflies put on!!! Overall--our stay was fantastic and we hope to book again on our next trip to Knoebels!

Solitude and endless views
We especially enjoyed the quiet setting of this chalet. It was great to have a smart TV so we could watch Netflix and the furniture was very comfortable. Nice touch with the snack box ! We enjoyed our stay. Thanks.
