The house was really nice and comfortable. Great location to downtown blue ridge and other activities. Also had a great outdoor area even though the weather didn't really allow us to enjoy it. The downstairs was a little on the cold side but was great for sleeping! Thanks for allowing us to stay.

This was the perfect property for a weekend getaway! The house was extremely clean, had comfy beds, and check in and out was extremely easy. Our kids loved the fire pit and pool table. The hot tub was clean and well kept up. We would highly recommend staying at this property!

TLC Needed

Dated home in great location. Needs maintenance and pest control. Owner hasn't focused on rental needs or comfort. Rented several other homes in much better shape in both decor and cleanliness. Several small roaches seen in home. Rental company brought spray that I used. I paid money to spray someone else's house. Owners crap in almost every closet or corner. Door combination was wrong and messed up twice in two days. Ended up with 3 different codes. Floors were so dirty that my wife ruined two pairs of socks. Paid cleaning fee for hot tub that nobody even bothered to turn on. Set on 80 but took all night to heat up. Only stayed two nights, so we didn't get to use it but once. Shared this with customer service with no offers of compensation for aggravation or extermination. They were at least nice. I'm a licensed building contractor that doesn't want to work on my vacations. Would never recommend this house.

not the best

there were a lot of issues wit this property. the below is the text i sent to vicasa: “…this place is definitely not what i expected. it needs major cleaning. i will take pictures later, but the porch is moldy, the grill is gross, the stumps where i'm assuming we're supposed to sit for the fire pit has moss all over them, the microwave handle is broken, there is a missing piece on the bottom fridge shelf so we can't use it and the other one keeps coming off, the dryer doesn't work (keeps shutting off in the middle of a cycle), many of the blinds are broken (and the screen on the front door), the closet door downstairs is broken, the stove hood light is out, the flashlights don't have batteries - it just isn't what was advertised. i am not one to complain, but i just wish all of these things were stated outright so that i could choose whether or not to stay here. we came here to escape. thank you.” later on that morning, i let them know the upstairs shower was leaking into the main-level bathroom. i did not get a response. i would not recommend this cabin.

Cozy cabin getaway

Overall, this property ticked all the boxes. We wanted a property that had a hot tub, fireplace, and fire pit. We weren't able to use the fire pit because of the weather, but it looked like it would have been great. If you are looking for a property with a view, this is not it, but if you want one that has privacy, it's perfect. The beds were quite comfortable, and the water was nice and hot. The kitchen had enough plates, utensils, etc. Just a couple of mentions, we were only left 2 packets of dishwashing detergent, but we were staying for 4 days, and usually there are some kitchen items left from previous guests, like spices or saran wrap. It seems the cleaning people remove everything, or people haven't left anything. The only spices are several of the cheap salt & pepper shakers. The upside is Walmart is only 5+/- miles away if you need something. I would definitely stay at this cabin again. It was a wonderful getaway with friends.

Fabulous Getaway!

Oh my, this was the perfect place! Great location, easy access, and very private! The back porch, going into the woods, ended at the fire pit and creek - - - So relaxing and felt very secluded. We all simply had a wonderful time! Nicely stocked kitchen, wifi worked great, and great insulation, so you were able to sleep in, even while others were up and about. We will be returning! By far the best cabin we have stayed at in the Blue Ridge area!

Disappointed Stay For The Money

The indoor was clean except for the blinds in several rooms. The screened in porch was filthy and full of spiders and webs. The outside driveway and yard area had not been kept up for a year but when reported, someone came out and hacked down weeds (left them there) and did the minimum wipe-down on the porch. Still the screens had holes throughout for bugs to get in which was not enjoyable. We also had to make due with many missing amenities: - only 3 coffee mugs - 3 steak knives - no small bowls - no Kleenex - no chlorine tabs for spa - only 2 laundry pods (and asked to wash upon exit?) - missing the #8 pool table ball - large black ants always in upstairs bathroom - one frying pan... that needs to be replaced and many other worn out pots and pans.

Quiet Getaway

The cabin was very clean. Nicely stocked kitchen and amble linens but some of the dishes had cracks. It would have been nice to have check-in at 3 rather than 4 so you would not be so rushed to get supper prepared. Overall, we would stay here again.

Super Bowl Weekend Getaway

Cabin was well equipped to accommodate our group. Everything was in working order. If you are faint of heart, the drive to the cabin could be a little heart pounding with all the twist and turns. Definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours as navigating the roads at night can be a little difficult as street signs may not be visible. Other than that highly recommend.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I booked this cabin for a quick weekend getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves camping, but I don’t, so this cabin gave us the camping feel, with ability to sleep in a warm bed. The cabin is close to town, but far enough back in the subdivision that you feel secluded. When we arrived the heat was turned off, so the cabin was a bit chilly, but hot tub was going! The first night there we played pool and darts in between getting in and out of the hot tub. On Saturday, we adventured into the woods and built an all day camp fire next to the creek. The outdoor gas grill was perfect for cooking a quick burger, and the woods gave us plenty of small sticks to keep the fire going all day. Everything about our stay was awesome. We were able to unplug just enough to relax, but thanks to wifi we were able to stay in touch with loved ones during our stay. We will absolutely be staying here again!
