Bekväm fjällstuga med alla bekvämligheter du önskar! Njut av den hisnande bergen över bergen året runt från den täckta bakre verandan medan du ligger i den avkopplande badtunnan! Stugan är smakfullt inredd med konstverk och dekor av vilda djur. Trådlöst internet för din bärbara dator och centralvärme och luftkonditionering (inte en fönsterenhet som vissa hytter har).
Det stora sovrummet och ett gäst sovrum är på huvudnivån. Det stora sovrummet har en privat ytterdörr som leder till däck och badtunna. Båda sovrummen på huvudnivån har madrasser av typen kuddeöverdelar och mjuka lakan! En bekväm drottningsbar soffa är också på huvudnivån och två enkelsängar finns i den färdiga delen av källaren. Det finns takfläktar i varje sovrum och kabininteriören har vackra tallgolv, väggar och tak! Inga steg in i kabinen!
Bara tio minuter till historiska centrum av Blue Ridge och den natursköna Blue Ridge Railway (fjälltåg-turer finns)! Cirka femton minuter till historiska centrum av Ellijay, Blue Ridge-sjön, Toccoa-floden och Cartecay-floden. Cirka trettio minuter till Ocoee-floden eller Amicalola Falls State Park (högsta vattenfall i sydöst!) Det finns flera lager fjällsjöar inom vandringsavstånd i denna åtta tusen tunnland exklusiva stuga samhälle. Den berömda Benton-Mackaye-leden, som korsar Appalachian-leden, passerar rätt genom berget som stugan sitter på! Det finns också flera hästryggfaciliteter mycket nära stugan!
Kom och njut av naturens sevärdheter och ljud vid "The Bear's Lair" -stuga i de vackra bergen i North Georgia! Asfalterad uppfart och parkeringsplatta. Cirka 90 minuter norr om Atlanta. Tyvärr, inga husdjur snälla.

Cabin was tidy and clean. We cooked every breakfast and dinner and found the supplies in the kitchen to be sufficient to be able to do so. We were pleased there was a regular coffee maker, as we prefer that over a Kureg - which was also available. We brought firewood from home to build a fire and roast marshmallows one night. Host checked on us one day to ask if we needed anything. We were thrilled that the majority of the approach to the cabin was a 2-lane road. Overall great experience. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great time at the cabin, we were too busy to get into the hot tub sadly. The steps to the basement level were too steep for 70 plus ladies to go down but found the upstairs to be adequate. Loved love, love sitting on the back porch, enjoying the view.

The cabin was nice and very clean. It had all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed using the hot tub to relax our muscles after a long day of hiking several beautiful trails in the area and we had ping pong tournaments with the kids at night. It was very relaxing to sit out on the back porch and just listen to nature while watching the beautiful view of the mountains. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Blue Ridge area.

Bear lair

The basement has a queen bed and two twin beds, a toilet, but no bathroom. That would make it impossible for us to bring family. But other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed the building. The journey up the mountain was a little precarious.

Excellent stay!

We visit the N Ga mountains frequently and have stayed in many cabins. This one, by far, was one of the best! The view from the back porch was breath taking. The hot tub is very roomy and nice and clean. We hiked a couple times and in the rainy times, we enjoyed playing scrabble and just sitting on the porch swing. Our favorite evening routine was the fire and s’mores. Book the stay! You won’t regret!

Great place amazing views

We went up for Valentines weekend. House was very clean and had an amazing view off the deck. The weather was not good but we had a wonderful time because the house felt like we were at home and very comfortable. Definitely recommend this place when staying in Blue Ridge.

Amazing view and hospitality

The cabin was beautiful and the view off of the back porch stunning!! Mr. Garcia went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and suggested some places to go and things to do!! Although we did not bring our children, I did notice they have plastic cups and plates for those who choose to bring kids which I thought was nice to have! We saw deer off the back balcony as well as on the drive up and down to the cabin. It is only about 15 minutes to downtown blue ridge and the same to Ellijay! We did not want to leave from this beautiful place!! We will definitely be back!!! :D Thank you so much again for a wonderful stay and beautiful home!!

Nice cabin

Nice cabin, comfortable, with most everything you need. Check-in was easy. Communication with owner was prompt and friendly. Location was good. Close to everything in the area. Lots of wildlife on the drive to and from the cabin. The roads in and out are rough. The biggest negative is that there is nothing to do at the cabin. Down an extremely narrow stairway, there are Pingpong and foosball tables downstairs in an area that is under repairs. If you open that backdoor down there, there is a narrow porch, but it's not a space to sit out or anything. There is no maintained yard area. The firepit is right in front of the cabin and that's it. To oneside there is a swing for kids, but it is not maintained. There is a hottub, we used it, but the chemicals were really strong (it bleached a bathingsuit from green to gray) so that was a one and done situation. You can't walk the property. We didn't spend much time at the cabin, which was somewhat disappointing.

Beautiful getaway!

The cabin and surroundings were exactly as advertised, including sightings of wildlife. The amenities made us feel like we were home. Beds were comfortable, cooking was convenient, and clean up was easy. Eddie even ordered the best weather for our trip! The area has great hiking, delicious foods, and friendly residents.

The Perfect getaway

We enjoyed the hot tub and foosball with the kids. Made family dinners and cuddled close to watch movies together as a family. It’s a cute little cabin at the top of Cherry Log Mountain. We had tickets to the Holiday Train in Blue Ridge which was within minutes of our location. We’ll have to come back in the Fall to check out the scenery more and enjoy some hiking during a little warmer weather. Definitely would recommend this listing for anytime of year! Happy Holidays!

Blue Ridge Bear’s Lair

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well located for all the things we wanted to do. The only thing that I would point out and it is certainly not the property owners fault is the road going up the mountain to the cabin is a little rugged, but still drivable. I would caution that Internet accessibility is limited and slow and is probably not an issue with the cabin as much with the area!

Great stay in Blue Ridge

This cabin in the sky has beautiful views of the forrest. Comfortable, clean and homey, we enjoyed our lazy evenings of friendship in front of the fire. Eddie checked in to make sure everything was great. We will be back!

Cozy but Spacious

The cabin was cozy, but spacious and very clean. The view from the hot tub and large back patio has a great view of the mountains. There are cabins nearby, but still felt private. The drive to downtown was 15-20 minutes, but nice. Eddie, the host was very helpful and nice. I would rent this cabin again.
