“The staff was very nice, n welcoming. In my room it was very dusty, large handprint on large picture on wall. Penny o floor In front of tv..black hair on tub n floor in bathroom,,,i am all gray...I opened microwave to heat up coffee, it was really DIRTY, i called front desk, they offered to come clean it..i told them i would just clean the round plate inside,. ...the beds vere very comfortable n clean....loved the POOL.”

“This was our fourth stay at the Akey House. It is a fine place for a family gathering; we had five adults and two dogs. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching deer, listening to birds and coyotes, reading and just relaxing. The house is ideal location for those who wish to canoe, hike, and bicycle. It is modern (kitchen is great) yet retains that old-time feel in the dining room, porch, parlor and bedrooms. Very comfortable for large or small gatherings.”

“The house has lots of room! There is a pellet stove to keep you toasty warm! Guys played pool, made a fire in the fire pit and we did family games in the lower level family room! We all enjoyed watching the Packers play even though it was a loss! The kitchen had plenty of room for us to cook together! The cupboards had pretty much what you needed to cook! Plenty of beds to sleep! This was an enjoyable time for our family! The dog run was a big hit!!!!!”
