“We had a lovely stay at this property! The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the beach and surrounded by many shops and restaurants! “We enjoyed our visit. The place was nice and cozy. The location was in a gated community and convenient to all that the area had to offer. The online photos showed a gas fireplace (in use). We were unable to utilize that amenity. We were disappointed to say the least. Reason: We were told by the host that it was a safety hazard. Cleanliness on a scale of one to ten. 6 1/2. The beds were comfortable and most all the amenities were as described in the VRBO listing. It checked most all the boxes....

“Stayed here while on a business trip to the Lake Forest area. Hotel looks new and is very clean and well kept. The wifi is free and fast. Free parking is available and convenient. The area around the hotel really isn’t walkable but many places to eat are within east driving distance. The breakfast is not free but is of good quality. I had some noisy neighbors the last night of the stay. The hotel staff dealt with them the best they could. I would stay here again if returning to the Lake...

“An older property with a facelift that is built into the cliff side gives European style vibes and easy beach access with an incredible view but prepare for lots of stairs and not so modern heat / air options. We had a plumbing issue with water and debris backing up into our bathroom sink overnight likely caused by years of people rinsing their sandy clothes in the sink which isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault.”

“We booked 11 nights at this hotel. The thin inner curtains had a big hole, the sofa was stained and the whole room needed an updating. When we arrived on the Friday we were asked if we wanted the room cleaned every day, every second day or not at all. We decided every second day.
