“Comfortable beds”

“The hallway smells mildew and the first room I had there was bed bugs on the pillow. The overnight person working moved me to another room but I didn’t get any sleep because I was nervous from seeing the bed bugs. Spoke with the manager the next morning and she wasn’t helpful sounded as if she didn’t care or was use to people telling her this. I asked for a refund and was told since I booked through a 3rd party website she couldn’t do anything. Please beware staying at this hotel”

“If you like being surrounded by nature (forest, lake) then this is a good place to spend a night or two. Overall is a good stay but don't expect any type of luxury or latest modern room amenities. Parking lot pavement needs some repairs. Staff was nice and amenable.”

“It was clean but nothing was updated. There was a timer for the shower, and everything seemed kind of cramped and run down. I specifically booked this hotel because it had a pool (my son was excited to swim) and was not informed until after I checked in that the pool was broken! I don't think it's a terrible place to spend a quick night but I will probably never go back. I do not in any way feel like I got my money's worth from this location.”

“I love how cute this cottage is! It is in the perfect location for our visit with our daughter and grandchildren! The cottage is very clean and the decor is pretty. We loved watching the birds and squirrels on the back porch, too! We will definitely stay here again!”
