Just across the road is access to Helman Tor, a nature reserve spanning 500 acres, perfect for dog walks. To the south are the coastal towns of Fowey, Looe and Charlestown, all within 10 miles. To the north lies the ever-popular destinations of Port Isaac, famed in the TV show Doc Martin, Padstow, Rock, and Polzeath which is one of the country’s surfing hot spots, all within 20 miles. From the cottage, you can visit the local village pubs at Lanivet, Luxulyan and Lanlivery. Attractions include cycling at Cardinham, the National Lobster Hatchery, Newquay Zoo, Karting at St Eval, many National Trust properties and an 18-hole golf course in Bodmin (20 miles).

After a day of exploring, take time to relax in the lounge with your favourite movie on the Smart TV. Doors from the central lounge/kitchen/dining area lead you to the bedroom and shower room. The bedroom, a good-size double, features plenty of storage and is the perfect spot for a lazy morning or breakfast in bed. This room also houses a utility cupboard for the washing machine and tumble dryer. Completing the lodge is the shower room with a large double shower, underfloor heating and a WC.
